Enough of the sarcasm - FReepers are right - it IS a done deal.
The American people rarely “change horses in midstream“. The incumbent is the odds-on favorite to win.
Jimmy Carter lost his re-election bid because he was weak - a total dud - and he had to run against Ronald Reagan - it was not even a fair fight. Bush lost in ‘92 because Republicans split their vote between him and Ross Perot. Clinton won with a meager 43% plurality - 2% less than Dukakis got in ‘88 when he lost to Bush in a landslide!
Is 2020 like either of those elections? No.
Is President Trump a dud? No.
Is Biden the Democrat answer to Ronald Reagan? No.
Is there a pro business third party spoiler dividing the Republican vote? No.
Is there any indication that Biden is a threat - other than meaningless polls?
Is he out-campaigning Trump?
Is he getting bigger crowds?
Does he have a powerful message that is resonating with the people?
Will he create jobs and security for middle class working Americans?
Does he offer an outsider alternative to DC corruption?
