This is how to deal with "peaceful demonstrators."

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a great film! And yes, the ending was pretty violent and awful, but well-deserved.

Probably one of the best endings to a movie ever.

If only we had seen the conclusion of the fight with Bruce Lee is my only complaint.

Also had a great soundtrack, Tarantino can pick good songs.

I loved the way that he rewrote this horrific story. A masterful job and truly a modern Hollywood fairy tale.

A masterpiece. Saw it in the theater (an extreme rarity for me) and two times at home. Many great scenes (and sets, music, etc.) and a very satisfying ending.

The story and the ending that everyone wished for......what a frightening time for those in SoCal. What a demonic man was Manson. But wouldn’t he be proud of the Race War that the Dems have finally fomented?

My only problem with the Bruce Lee fight scene is the cartoonish way the car car got dented when Pitt tossed Lee into it. But who am I to argue with genius? And for those watching the ending without having seen the film, Pitt’s character smoked an acid-dipped cigarette before walking his pit bull, which explains some of his mannerisms and reactions to what is going on around him.

He did similar, with Inglorious B*sturds.....the theatre scene.

Agree as well. Not a fan of DiCaprio nor Pitt but they both turned in excellent performances. (..hurt to say that ;>)

Great film. The ending, as Tarantino intended, was a ‘Hollywood ending’ i.e. feel good but not realistic. I found it depressing, knowing what actually happened. Then again, the ‘Once Upon A Time’ title was a tip off that the film was a modern fable.

Agree, great soundtrack and Tarantino is a great director.

Pitt and DeCaprio were excellent (their personal politics matter to them but not to me) and, as another poster said, the only regret was that this was not the real ending of the real story.

the only regret was that this was not the real ending of the real story.

As was the case with Inglouious Basterds.

The Inglourious Basterds scene that takes place in the bar, I could watch over and over again.

Indeed he did. It’s hard for me to decide which one I like more between those two. They are likely tied for second. Pulp Fiction is my all time fave because of the writing. It’s the best dialogue beginning to end of any movie ever, IMHO.

I jokingly refer to Bastards as a propaganda movie about a propaganda movie.
While Goebbels was presenting his Aryan idealism to Germany they were dealt a crushing blow we have only dreamed of. Shoshana’s face laughing at them while projected on the dancing flames was cinematic beauty.
