Politico Hypes Soros-Linked Group Spending 7 Figures to Fight Barrett

Politico seems to be getting into the habit of hyping up radical leftist groups tied to liberal billionaire George Soros looking to sway American politics.

This time, Politico elevated a group trying to derail President Donald Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

The outlet’s puff story, pushed in its lede paragraph how “Demand Justice, a liberal group that focuses on judicial reform, will launch a seven-figure ad buy Tuesday, the latest effort in what's shaping up to be an increasingly expensive Supreme Court fight.” What Politico failed to note is that the nonprofit Demand Justice (DJ), led by CNN and MSNBC contributor and former Hillary Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon, is a project of the leftist dark money group Sixteen Thirty Fund (the Fund). Soros’s Open Society Policy Center has funneled at least $6,968,483 into the Fund between 2016-2018 alone, according to the Open Society Foundations website. Influence Watch noted that the Fund is “the fiscal sponsor of Demand Justice.” [Emphasis Added.]

That’s not much of a commitment from Soros.

It would be great to get them to spend more on a fool’s errand.

a liberal group that focuses on judicial reform

Whenever a liberal uses the word, "reform", it means "escape from the rules".

I can tell you for a fact their are Democrat activists walking around particular Blue State cities carrying millions in cash and its being thrown at “problems”

I can’t say where but if its considered a battleground state, you are there.

I know one of the people involved which is why I can’t say anything more.

If Tom Steyer can spend $200 million for a presidential campaign and Michael Bloomberg can spend $1 billion for his presidential run, I want George Soros to spend $2 billion to try to stop Amy Barrett. George Soros should lose more money.

My thinking exactly. It is like me stopping to pick up a nickel or maybe a penny, which I actually will do if it is an easy reach.

But I'm not like the joke my brother used to tell about a Scotsman and a Dutchman. Copper wire was invented when they both picked up a penny at the same time and neither would let go.
