This could be a double edged sword. It could inspire more of the conservative base to support Trump but that base was already pretty well motivated. However it could also inspire a lot of disgruntled dems and Bernie bros who might have stayed home rather than vote for Biden because they won’t want Trump to choose the next SC justice.
To me, the real action is happening in the swing states in the courts as Dems are pre-emptively trying to validate late “ballots” with no provenance. Pennsylvania, now Michigan. Maybe this is cover?
The eternal Democrat problem (apart from standing for fringe and unpopular positions on everything) is guessing at the amount of fraud they need, and being limited by the amount of post-election manufacture available to meet the amount of absentee requests to make up the gap. How convenient is it exactly how many votes need printed, and have no upper limit on creation?
I had expected some event to occur where Biden can claim that a debate would not be possible in such an environment, or based on a certain Trump action. I don’t think a SC nomination meets threshold but an order of magnitude ramp-up in violence might. The blue-check Twittiots are certainly unified in the “Burn The MF Down” messaging.
The traditional Friday Night news drop generally indicates planning; the 5-minutes-later “Her dying wish was not to be replaced in this term, zomg how can you be so mean” indicates planning. The loaded language of the statement - “installed” rather than “elected” - has its own implications.
Long story short, I don’t know whose advantage this works to yet, this feels a precursor event. The dots are appearing, don’t quite know how they connect yet.
