We have to realize the vast majority of people to not see the things that happen on a daily basis that we do. Most people just catch a snatch of a MSM broadcast or scroll past a MSM headline every now and then. They live in a world where Trump is a big meanie and Dems are all well adjusted middle class people in suburbia who are completely normal working 9-5 jobs, catch the ball game, and wave the flag like any one else.
Even ordinary conservatives don’t know how far the rabbit hole goes with all the laws being passed, the white fragility workshops, the deer people and the blue haired pansexuals on Twitter and all the wacky things they get up to and how truly insane the people that have power on the Left are. They’ve mastered the art of hiding in plain sight.
Its our job to shine a light on all this craziness to the general public.
Because it is falsely described as good and the highest good.

SOME may not, but I really believe, based on conversations, that ‘the vast majority’ see much of it.
The problem, IMO, is no one knows what to do about it. If I had a dollar for every person who just said, in a small, wistful voice: “It’s just so crazy”, I’d be quite comfortable.
People want a formula for reaction that will end the insanity.

A great majority of people want complete and instantaneous victory at no personal cost or risk to themselves.
However, the people you describe sound like they just need a little direction / guidance -- i.e., specific things they can do. Specific people to make contact with. Specific ways to resist the tide that seems to be getting higher all the time. With those people, there may be some hope. Who knows? Maybe not all is lost after all.
