As much as I like the local Goodyear place a block away and the people there, I guess I will have to go somewhere else.
There is another local place, family owned I think. About 2 miles away.
It’s a good year to switch tire brands!
Thanks for the heads-up as I shop for complete set of tires for two vehicles this fall.
Damn it! Why, Goodyear, why?!?! I don’t like other manufacturers tires...
National name brands fund the LEFTIST media.
I have purchased Goodyear tires on two previous occasions both of which occurred over 20 yrs ago. And in each instance, the tires were defective. The last set, the tires were not perfectly round and you could see this just by looking at them.
Since that time, I only buy Continental tires which are made in Germany and which came as the original tires with my MB.
Bad year for goodyear
I
Hankook's tread life isn't that great but boy are they QUIET and the CORNER HANDLING is astounding.
I recently replaced the tires on my Cherokee Trailhawk. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. I settled on the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Amazing tires at an incredible price point with a 55K mile treadwear guarantee. I would highly recommend them for anybody looking for a light truck/SUV all terrain tire.
If I were to go to a Goodyear store, I would expect the employees to be wearing clothing with Goodyear emblems on them. Why are they allowing anything other than that?
“Goodyear?”
“No, the worst.”
Goodyear is on my no-go list unless heads roll over this.
I am on a mobile. I don’t see any

I don’t see photos usually
A description would be appreciated
Nice. I was going to get a new set this month. Got 65K miles off my originals. Now I can definitely eliminate Goodyear from any replacement option.
We need to start giving them lip RIGHT BACK.
Honestly, any time were sanctimoniously alienated like this, we should write to them and complain. ALL of us. Yes, one wont do anything but maybe if we all did.
Cooper. The only other American-made tire.
Michelin for the HD and Toyo for my car. Pirelli on the Mrs Jeep.
I’m sure my brand is banned too but I’ve been more than happy with several varieties of High end Michelin tires (both sport and regular passenger), quiet, sticky, and good longevity.
