Since NBC News is nothing more than the public relations arm of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, on Thursday, the Today show welcomed on one of the presumptive Democratic nominee’s biggest supporters to trash President Trump. Of course the network morning show never bothered to tell viewers that its guest, American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten, had endorsed Biden for president.

At the top of the program, co-host Hoda Kotb fretted: “Coronavirus and the classroom. The heated debate over how and if schools should reopen....President Trump threatening to cut off funding if that doesn’t happen.” She then hyped how Weingarten “warns of the dangers” and told viewers the Biden backer would be on for a live interview.

First, if the schools aren't open why would they need federal funding? And you don't need all those teachers if lessons are going to be assigned and turned in on computers, it's not like a program couldn't be written to correct and grade the work.

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to cut all that wasteful administration that really does nothing but suck funds from students and look at the money saved mothballing the campuses. I know that the district near me already completed all the maintenance months ago with the students out so you can also save money cutting the maintenance workers. All you need is a couple of on site security staff to patrol the campuses and guard against vandalism.

Yup the dem governors and union leeches will save the state taxpayers an extraordinary amount of money and also have the added benefit of diluting the brainwashing of our children.

So when you think about it keeping the schools closed? Not so bad.

I’d love to know if Weingarten is a member of any Marxist organization such as the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Her “line” on everything is anti-American and Marxist. I also wonder is she was behind the attacks on the more conservative United Teachers Federation in NYC?

The NEA went Left in the 70’s and never turned back. She intends to keep that as a policy.
