Ben is trying to carve an ‘independent’ conservative voice for himself (meaning he won’t shy away from attacking his own side (which ironically is hardly anything new among Republicans)). He is bright but politically he is not mature, not fully. By now he should know that Trump doesn’t let an attack on him go unanswered. As always Jeb made the first move. Trump responded - with force.

Ben Shapiro annoyed me years before anyone knew who he was. He used to call the Lee Rodgers show on KSFO from time to time, circa 2003. After each call, Lee and Melanie Morgan would go on and on about how brilliant little Ben was. They laid it on a bit thick, which is why I still remember after all these years.
Except with Trump it's in reverse. He makes us happy and irritated jackass globalists like Ben Shapiro, Jeb Bush, and Mitt Romney. Win, win, win.
