No details of his symptoms. Co-morbidities? What treatments given? How long with what symptoms before getting treatment???
Actually, the older people on my state have been better. A lot of the young are totally freaked out.
I was in the supermarket yesterday, going up to look at spices (where you have to stop and look because they’re in small bottles) and when I pulled in with my cart, a young guy in a mask jumped backwards. I thought he was responding to something else (I don’t know what) so I ignored him and continued to look at the spice rack. He was about 8 feet away from me and watching me...looking back, I think he was waiting for me to move away.
Then another older woman rolled her cart up behind him and he leaped up in the air and started whirling around like he was being hunted. Finally, a mask wearing older gentleman appeared and at that point the younger guy went nuts. I thought he was going to try to run up the shelving along aisle, but instead he bounced up and literally ran up the aisle towards the door. The rest of us were just staring at each other in disbelief, even the older guy with the mask.
The young people are totally panicked. Totally.
I do see some vert interestimg ones. Sime store bought and some handmade. There are some talkentes people out there.
despite the mandatory mask-wearing orders by my county, i’m seeing quite a few folks ignoring the orders, including me ...
I went to pick up Chinese takeout this evening. Sign said wear a mask. Three people walked in without masks as I parked, so I did the same.
I didn’t see a Snowflake in the place. But there wouldn’t be any anyway.
They are stupid.

I know what you mean. I take walks every day and there are always some idiots walking with a mask on. They are walking in a breeze or brisk wind but have to wear their masks. Idiots.
I read where there is evidence that the virus could infect people through the eyes too.
You can’t get that kind of entertainment on TV!
Last week I went to the large supermarket in my area of Queens, NY.... I did not see a sign on the door that said I had to wear a mask....okay, maybe it was mentioned on a sign with a whole list of rules to follow... but it didn’t jump out at me, so that was good enough for me to walk in without a mask..... The dirty looks I got were priceless... And if someone gave me a dirty look, I gave them twice as dirty a look back, and they ran away from me!..... I got some stares from the workers, but they didn’t bother me... They look like they’re burnt out on this stuff.... one shopper was eyeing me from about 10 yards away.... They obviously didn’t wanna walk down the same aisle as me and were waiting for me to leave... I shot them a dagger stare and took my sweet time
I think with summer heat and humidity, the weakening of the virus and herd immunity in places like NYC, we should be in great shape by Labor Day.
