Mostly say "You Got Punked".
Are there any other instances of you getting fooled that you would like to point out?
Before the Revolution the colonists were not Americans. The charters they operated on from Britain demanded slavery and the one New England colony that tried to abolish it had the law nullified by the British. Between the Revolution and the Constitutional Convention, six of thirteen colonies abolished slavery.
The greatest danger James Madison saw for our new republic was from a tyranny of the majority trampling the liberties of the few.
Than GOD(!) for
“”... a primordial American tradition going back to the founders of being freedom-obsessed””
Without our natural rights recognized by Second Amendment the rest of our freedoms are just a veil of vapors and the Constitution is just meaningless words on parchment.
The entire point of the Second Amendment is to instill in our public servants a healthy respect (if not downright fear) of their sovereign masters (i.e., We the People). The Second Amendment does not grant, but merely recognizes our natural right to arm ourselves with state-of-the-art weaponry to a level that the fools in the feral government should fear for their lives such that they never be tempted to overstep their limited and temporary powers.
What is our relationship to the vocal, hysterical Commie, fascist media?
Gotcha. Thanks.
Very well put.
i believe it was because they are aware that some states have varying issues regarding it, some hit harder than others, populations spread out more in some than others, some way less cases than others, so its not a one size fits all national decree

About NewsBusters.org
Welcome to NewsBusters, a project of the Media Research Center (MRC), Americas leading media watchdog in documenting, exposing and neutralizing liberal media bias.
In August of 2005, the MRC launched the NewsBusters blog to provide immediate exposure of national media bias, unfairness, inaccuracy, and occasional idiocy. National talk-radio stars often read from articles on the blog, touting the latest nugget from our buddies at NewsBusters. Even the Washington Post has noticed the feisty blog run by the best-known and best-funded conservative watchdog.
With a sophisticated 24-hour recording operation and a huge archive of broadcast and cable news recordings dating back to 1987, NewsBusters plays a leading role in both short-term outrages and long-term trends in liberal media tilt.
Media Research Center
The Media Research Center’s mission is to bring balance and responsibility to the news media. The MRC was founded on October 1, 1987 by L. Brent Bozell III, who set out to not only prove through sound scientific research that this bias exists, but also to neutralize its impact on the American political scene. NewsBusters.org is a project of the MRC’s News Analysis Division, led from the founding in 1987 by Brent Baker, the MRC’s Steven P.J. Wood Senior Fellow and Vice President for Research and Publications. For NewsBusters, Baker serves as Editor at Large. The division produces daily, weekly and special reports that document and counter liberal bias from television network news shows and major print publications.
NewsBusters Publisher Ed Molchany is also the MRC’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Tim Graham serves as Executive Editor of NewsBusters and is the MRC’s Director of Media Analysis. Rich Noyes, the MRC’s Director of Research, is the Senior Editor. (From 2005 through 2013, Matt Sheffield provided leading editorial and technical services for NewsBusters.)
L. BRENT BOZELL III
Longtime conservative leader Richard Viguerie has a simple test for credentialing a conservative: Does he walk with us?
For the simple reason that he cannot win without conservatives support, virtually every Republican presenting himself to voters swears so-help-me-God that he is a conservative. Many of these politicians are calculating, cynical charlatans, running as one thing only to govern in a completely different direction. See: McConnell, McCain, Hatch, Boehner, et al. And for decades its worked. Conservatives look at the alternatives Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Clinton, et al. and bite the bullet. We so often win only for nothing to come of it.
The GOP base is clearly disgusted and looking for new leadership. Enter Donald Trump, not just with policy prescriptions that challenge the cynical GOP leadership but with an attitude of disdain for that leadership precisely in line with the sentiment of the base. Many conservatives are relishing this, but ah, the rub. Trump might be the greatest charlatan of them all.
A real conservative walks with us. Ronald Reagan read National Review and Human Events for intellectual sustenance; spoke annually to the Conservative Political Action Conference, Young Americans for Freedom, and other organizations to rally the troops; supported Barry Goldwater when the GOP mainstream turned its back on him; raised money for countless conservative groups; wrote hundreds of op-eds; and delivered even more speeches, everywhere championing our cause. Until he decided to run for the GOP nomination a few months ago, Trump had done none of these things, perhaps because he was too distracted publicly raising money for liberals such as the Clintons; championing Planned Parenthood, tax increases, and single-payer health coverage; and demonstrating his allegiance to the Democratic party.
We conservatives should support the one candidate who walks with us.
L. Brent Bozell III is the chairman of ForAmerica and the president of the Media Research Center. He has endorsed Ted Cruz for president.

“...even though were a country founded on slavery, genocide...”
Buy this fer-in-er a one way ticket out of the country is my nice suggestion ... otherwise, the spot between the 5th and sixth rib is an excellent choice!
Wanna bet anyone here knows the name of that soldier and the flag he raised?
Anyway, Anand Giridharadas is U.S. born and he’s kind of a mixed bag; since he was raised here it might be interesting to ask him to flesh out his definition of `freedom obsessed’. Strange, since even his sympathetic portrait of modernized India acknowledges that it is still a caste-based society.
Might be no different than Bill Clinton’s cornpone collectivism as noted here. Would like to know his views on gun control.
What the hell kind of name is that???
The leftist is of Indian descent. He’s certainly no Dinesh D’Souza. Probably because he grew-up here and Dinesh came searching for freedom and opportunity.
Anand Giriharadas Go back to your shithole country, Get the hell out !!
They have huge blocks of tall apartment buildings that SHAR a TOILET with OTHER BUILDINGS!!!!! ANd HOT water ONLY at certain times! DIRTY and SMELLY!
Yes, I do.
From Wikipedia; "Giridharadas was raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, Maryland, and Paris, France,by his Brahmin parents, Radhashyam and Nandini (née Lall) Giridharadas. His childhood visits to extended family members in India sparked an interest in that country that influenced his later writing. He studied politics and history at the University of Michigan.
After graduating from college, Giridharadas moved to Mumbai in 2003 as a consultant for the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he followed the path of his father, who was a director at McKinsey. In 2005, he became a journalist, covering India for the International Herald Tribune and The New York Times. In 2009, after returning to the United States, he began to write the "Currents" column for those newspapers. He also writes longer magazine pieces. As of 2010, Giridharadas was a doctoral candidate at Harvard University. He is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute, an MSNBC commentator, and a visiting scholar at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University.
The virus dies as the temperature increases.
Therefore, we should pump moar CO2 into the atmosphere, to raise global temperatures and kill off the virus.
(Ducking to avoid flying pieces of progressives heads)
Heres a rich irony...but not a great one...for decades the Democrats have been foisting this end of the world scenario on us (global warming) as a means of achieving permanent political power and totalitarian control of society. Theyve never given it up. Now, this virus panic thing falls into their lap, giving them what they hoped all these years that global warming would give them. Presto Shazam, out of the blue, their totalitarian wet dream.
