I was driving to work this morning, and as I was next to Lake Washington a shaft of sunlight burst through the low-hanging clouds. It cast a fantastic golden hue over everything. The beauty of this region at this time of year, with the cherry, apple, magnolia, azalea, and rhododendrons all in bloom, is simply sublime. Praise be to the Greatest Artist of them all!
