Okay, so it looks like the isolation period is going to be extended to the end of April. It's going to be a long haul since I am already going a bit stir crazy. Only going out once per week for food (and one other pit stop last week to pick up our new Coronavirus car on a GM deal).
Fortunately some of this isolation is mitigated by watching lots of stuff on TV. However, the sense of wanderlust remains.
So my question to everybody is: What will you be doing once the isolation period ends? I am definitely thinking of a trip down the Florida Keys. A stop in Marathon Key to go swimming for a couple of hours and then on to Key West before returning.
If the cruise lines offer good deals to get people back, perhaps also a cruise to the Bahamas as well.
I know where it is. Right near the Publix. But how could you be working there now when all schools in the county (and in Florida) are closed?
We went on the Steve Kane Radio Show Cruise to the Caribbean last November for a week and we were pleasantly surprised by the deal we got. Drink package included with a balcony cabin. You always get better deals by booking as a group. Same person who handled that cruise is booking the Trump 2020 Victory Cruise, Ian the Cruise Guy.
Thank God!
So, your wife’s not a freeper?
I just found out that the FL governor ordered stay-at-home for South Florida until middle of May so I will be STIR CRAZY for at least 6 more weeks.
Yeah, he’s talking on Spectrum News 9 right now... where does he start ‘south Florida’ - where’s the line? That’s south of the Tampa Bay region, right? (hope hope)
I always found it funny that the “University of South Florida” is based in Tampa.
LOL - good one. I never thought of it that way but you're right. What a hoot.
