Wow. It used to be called smart business. The country has certainly gone left in recent years. I think they were smart and still have an opportunity to sell the stuff in the future for a modest hike.

Smart businessmen solve problems. They address a shortage. This Matt Colvin guy is different. He is creating problems. He is causing the shortage.

The hoarders are conditioned by their reaction to hurricanes, fires, earthquakes, and floods. These disasters interrupt the supply chains of truck and trains from producers to consumers and result in uncertainty if goods will be available in the future.

With the health crisis there is no current risk to any of the supply chains so it is irrational to hoard goods when a new shipment will be in the stores tomorrow. If millions of truckers get sick this could change but that’s very unlikely at this point.

What amazes me is that they are also hoarding beef and chicken along with other perishable vegetables like bell peppers and potatoes.

People, let me be clear, barbecue does not cure COVID-19!

Call it whatever the hell you want.

He isnt owed a spot on Amazon or Ebay to sell it. People are rightfully appalled at this, and he is the idiot that allowed his story to go out to the press.

He can now do his “smart business” by opening up a folding table in his driveway and selling it for as much as he wants.
