To me, she could not “live down” her socialist/communist positions on the economy and politics, her lying on multiple resumes, and that she came across as an obvious pretender in everything she said because she always seemed to follow the Democraptic party/socialist/communist winds of political correctness.

Her gender had nothing to do with her unpopularity, but the fact that she was universally perceived to be a congenital LIAR had everything to do with it.
