People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. - Albert Einstein
My problem: I cant decide whether to go back in time and be considered a genius, or forward in the hope that mankind has improved and life on earth is truly better.
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots. - Albert Einstein
Who am I kidding, I have seen the future and it is as Einstein feared: a video game. Perhaps time didnt matter to Einstein - hed be considered a genius in any time warp but knowing what I know now Id go back in time and pretend. Id take enough money to buy a nice sized piece of land in northern California, sometime during the Great Depression, where Id plant mostly grapes. Id invest in Microsoft, Apple, Google and Amazon early on, cash out and retire to my own private island in the Caribbean.
There I would spend the rest of days not worrying about COVID-19.
I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.
― Albert Einstein
Note: for those of us living in the present, please remember to keep Ripleys Mom and Succotash in your prayers and add MnTo who is having surgery tomorrow.

I never read this, but have been long saying that TIME is a human construct. There is no such thing as a dimension of time. It's simply how humans organize their lives and thoughts. Wow, didn't know I was on the level of Einstein.
Ready for in-coming from white board mathematicians.
There’s nothing like the universe to bring you down to earth.
Add an extra dimension or two to your worldview and the meaning of Time will become clear
Not sure of your point, but why stop at two extra dimensions? Should I include parallel universes? How's that string theory going? Certain physics are fact; others are theory that works on a white board.
Two questions: 1. What is gravity? Yeah, I know they have it figured out to be sub-atomic particles, but it's still theory.
2. Where did the basketball sized super condensed matter come from that created the Big Bang? Why is not pulling back on itself as theorized years ago. Last I read the universe is still expanding. Red shift proves it.
Theories are speculation according how math wizards can make their computations equal out.
Einstein was more than a physics genius, he was a prophet. I've been saying the same thing for years about smart phones, obsessive texting, Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram, etc. I had no idea I was in his league :)
