Former Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe will not face criminal charges for allegedly lying to agents about a leak to reporters, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) letter released Friday afternoon.
But what about other crimes he has committed?
McCabe was “cleared” by DOJ on lying about leaking a news story; not FISA abuses or illegal spy operations.
McCabe is NOT out of the woods yet for his criminal behavior.
Who else will tell us the truth if not Trey Gowdy.

That said McCabe was clearly gloating but did not seem genuinely relieved the last few days.

In order to prosecute and win you need evidence that will stand up in court. McCabe was accused of leaking to whom? The left-wing media, that’s who. So how can anyone be surprise if the witness that is needed to prove that information was given to the media by McCabe suddenly has a poor memory? Or is reluctant to testify against him?

Gowdy admits that he has no idea whether McCabe will ultimately have to face the music or not for what he did as a party to the coup. But his point is well taken that the DOJ couldn’t get the grand jury to indict on these narrow charges. No indictment = no prosecution. Period.
