Todays Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Its all just another days work for our fake news media. In my weekly Tuesday afternoon radio spot on News Talk 93.1 FM in Montgomery, Alabama, hilarious host Greg Budell brought up the new Project Veritas video expose of CNN. Those undercover videos, recorded by a whistleblower employee who was fired on Monday, reveal all sorts of news-faking machinations that take place at the fakest fakety-fake fake news outlet of them all.
A video released late Monday contains various clips of CNN President Jeff Zucker exposing an obvious personal grudge against President Donald Trump, bashing him repeatedly, and holding regular 9:00 a.m. meetings at which Zucker and staff strategize how to slant and fake the days news. Heres the video:
When Greg asked me if I thought there would be any internal repercussions against Zucker or other high-profile CNN employees as a result of these videos, I answered no, because these videos dont really come as a surprise to anyone.
Seriously, does it surprise you even a little bit that Jeff Zucker hates Donald Trump, and holds daily staff meetings to plot ways to slant CNNs fake news coverage to the Presidents detriment and in favor of various Democrats? Havent we really known that had to be happening all along? As I told Greg, its not just CNN doing this the same thing is happening every morning at ABC, NBC, CBS, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and most other national outlets.
Oh, and those 9:00 strategy meetings likely take place right after theyve all spent an hour on their daily 8:00 conference calls with key Democrats, during which they agree to the days talking points script that will be parroted on TV, in the newspapers and by their employees on Twitter and other social media. How else would Rush Limbaugh be able to come up with those 3-minute-long montages of 50 fake journalists and talking heads using the exact same talking points, verbatim, several times each week?
This is nothing new: This Democrat/media daily coordination has been taking place for at least 25 years, probably longer. Back in 2009, when the folks at Politico were still attempting to run a fairly honest news reporting effort, they even reported on the daily talking points operation of the day, which the fake journalists referred to as journo-list:
For the past two years, several hundred left-leaning bloggers, political reporters, magazine writers, policy wonks and academics have talked stories and compared notes in an off-the-record online meeting space called JournoList
POLITICO contacted nearly three dozen current JList members for this story. The majority either declined to comment or didnt respond to interview requests and then returned to JList to post items on why they wouldnt be talking to POLITICO about what goes on there.
Again, every outlet in our fake news media has these daily strategy sessions, and uses the exact same talking points and narratives that are used by Democrat strategists and politicians. This can only happen if there is a daily coordination effort. Whether the coordination effort takes place in an online forum, via conference call or some other technological mechanism doesnt really matter: The coordination is manifestly transparent due to the way the news is rolled out to the public each day.
The only thing new this week is that, thanks to Project Veritas, we now have video proof of it taking place at CNN. Which we already knew was happening, anyway, right? Right.
Hell, far from getting fired for this, we should expect to soon see videos of Zucker bragging about it at various public events, like Quid Pro Joe bragged about bullying Ukraines government to fire that prosecutor. What Zucker and his CNN cohorts are doing is just standard operating procedure at Americas major fake news outlets these days.
The only person at CNN likely to face any real repercussions from the Project Veritas expose has already been fired. That is sad, but its also very probably true.
That is all.
My grandpa would walk to the pool in the efficiency units we rented in the summers up in the Italian Catskills. Always dressed to the nines summer or winter you wouldnt catch him in a bathing suit.
Is the water wet he would ask in his Neapolitan accent.
During the Obama years, those ‘journo-list’ forming conference calls also included White House officials.
The damage to our country’s liberties and rights was and is tremendous.
with an unhealthy jihad like focus on impeachment, thus I could have been knocked over with a feather when the CNN debate spent the first 20 minutes allowing the candidates to all support impeachment and call Trump names. (like children would)
Someone please tell me why AT&T hasn’t sold CNN yet. At the very least, they should fire Zucker and almost all of their anchors. Can anybody give me a business reason why AT&T hasn’t moved on this yet?
I would just like to point out to you that water itself is not wet.
Only another object that comes into contact with water thus causing water to adhere to it can be considered wet.
In the movies that portray Italians, I often see them wearing black, mostly the adult ones. Is that true, that wearing black throughout the year is popular with many Italian adults?
“Someone please tell me why AT&T hasnt sold CNN yet.”
SNL Kagan is forecasting that CNN will earn $1.59 billion in operating revenue this year by itself compared with $782.5 million forecast by MSNBC. Timer Warner and Turner also own many other money makers. They own 22 major buildings for their operations, 9 venues like the AT&T Plaza Chicago, Illinois (public space that hosts the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park), AT&T Performing Arts Center Dallas, Texas, AT&T Stadium Arlington, Texas (formerly Dallas Cowboys Stadium), and TPC San Antonio San Antonio, Texas (AT&T Oaks Course & AT&T Canyons Course). They also sponsor 12 major events to include the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Major League Soccer and the United States Soccer Federation, and the United States Olympic team....all money generations through marketing.
And politically they grease the palms in all direction. They may appear to be pro liberal but according to the Center for Responsive Politics, as of 2018, AT&T is the fifteenth-largest donor to United States political campaigns, and was the top American corporate donor in 2011, having contributed more than US $47.7 million since 1990, 56% of which went to Republicans and 44% of which went to Democrats.
It all has to do with money and it’s use for political purposes. They ain’t going to go broke soon and except for Fox, they generate more funds for their networks than anyone else.

This just reinforces my considered opinion that those who practice “journalism” (reporters, publishers) should be required to submit to the very same background checks and scrutiny that gun buyers, owners, dealers and manufacturers are subjected to.
Some believe this doesn’t show much, but I believe it does.
I have come across many over the last decade or so who feel MSNBC is “left” and Fox is “right”, so they so expect or believe that CNN is in between, or the center.
Some of that goes back to its founding, being the first and only cable news network at the time.
Certainly Not News - where truth goes to die.
What a world we now live in where a major media cooperation generates pure trash and the likes of the National Enquirer becomes a trusted source of hard and feature news. The WH must issue a statement and revoke CNN credentials, immediately!
Old Italian widow ladies wore black for decades after their husbands death. But not necessarily anyone else.
These “news” agencies are engaging in “in kind” political contributions. Where’s the IRS. Oh wait. It’s deep state too. Never mind.
