Juan Williams said he was "heartbroken" after listening to President Trump's rally Thursday in Minneapolis. To Wiliams, it is clear that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is the only potential opponent Trump is "concerned with."
"I'm just so heartbroken for America that that's the president, that's the way he talks," Williams said on "The Five" on Friday. "And that's the way he talks about people who are his political rivals."
Williams took issue with how Trump unloaded on Joe and Hunter Biden over their Ukrainian business dealings, and with the president saying Joe Biden's only useful trait as vice president was to "kiss Barack Obama's a--."
Williams also told his co-hosts that he believed this was proof that Trump was focused on Biden as his only threat to reelection.
"I think it's pretty clear from that attack last night that there's only one Democrat that he is concerned with and that's Joe Biden," Williams said. "He doesn't attack Elizabeth Warren -- who's been doing well in the polls.

When I observe Trump’s comments between various candidates at various times, the phrase, “Shaping the Battlefield” comes to mind.
At this stage, his statements are masterful operational artcraft in shaping the political battlefield for the actual race as it approaches next fall. We’re 13 months away.

Juan Williams is so limited in his visions he needs a stick with red paint on the shaft. This never was effort to single out Biden as a competitor. It was to ask the Ukraine to consider doing an investigation on misuse of power by a sitting US vice president in violation of our federal laws and using blackmail to hide his involvement by withholding promised money to the Ukraine until the prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden was terminated and gave the country 6 hours to do it.
But Williams is such a fool and a misguided closet liberal he can’t see the forest for the trees or he purposely ignores them. So he’s either an idiot or a liar. Does he make Hunter Biden money?

Trump systematically eviscerates his opponents, one at a time. The opportunity arose to take out Biden so he took it. He’ll get to Warren in due time, after she has given him plenty of material to work with.

I remember when Ailes hired Juilliams after NPR had fired him. There were plenty of FReepers who were celebrating it. I never could understand why.
