As Indias space agency prepares to make history by landing on the Moon later this week, many of the countrys citizens have been left in stitches after footage of an apparent moonwalk went viral.
Just days before Indias lunar mission Chandrayaan-2 touches down on the Moons south pole on September 7, Baadal Nanjundaswamy, a famous Indian street artist, stole all the headlines with a wry takedown of the city council in Bengaluru.
Nanjundaswamy enlisted the help of theater actor and film star, Poornachandra Mysore, who helped stage a tongue-in-cheek moonwalk to highlight the pockmarked pavement plaguing the citys streets.
At approximately 10pm local time on Saturday, Mysore donned a silver space suit tailored by a local costume designer and began his hike across the lunar surface.
The entire thing was shot on a mobile phone camera, no additional lights were used. So naturally, I didnt expect it to turn out the way it did, Nanjundaswamy said, adding that it cost approximately Rs 8000 ($111) to shoot the video.
And yeah I know it is a month old. But a good laugh is a good laugh.
Thank you.
bttt
And I thought OUR streets were bad!.......................
Must be ABC News footage of the Moonwalk.
If they used Indian programmers for the software then if the TINIEST thing changes they will either not make it there or not make it back.
(btw: The video is HILARIOUS)
You had to wonder what the expressions were on the faces of those occupants in the 2 vehicles that passed him in his moon walk. 8>)
ROFLMAO!!!! That right there is some funny $hit!
that is most EXCELLENT
Can we get these creative minds to do something similar to do something about the “sheet-in-the-street” that is going on in San Francisco and Los Angeles?
I mean - tragedy is comedy if you frame it in a certain way.
