These letters were written in recent months in response to a Howard County (Maryland) Council resolution calling on the county school system to desegregate its schools. The letters’ target was a comprehensive redistricting proposal offered by Howard County schools superintendent Michael Martirano. The plan would ease overcrowding and, in Martirano’s words, “substantially improve equity and access to the best educational services” in the county’s schools. By redistributing students around the district and balancing the number of poor students in the district’s schools, the proposal would make the schools more economically integrated, and thus—in theory—more racially integrated.

The first step should be to mandate that All Public Employee’s in the State support the Public School System by making it a Term of Employment that their offspring ALL Attend their Local Public School.

Howard County has seen a lot of suburban development. It’s the home of the planned city of Columbia, Maryland. The population of Columbia is about 100,000 people. Howard County overall has about 300,000 people.
No they are not, and it is very important that you understand why. They don’t have any principles, consequently they can’t, by definition, even be hypocritical. They just make it up as they go along.

While this may not apply to all blacks as a general statement this is true. If blacks insist on being 'African American' and seeking separate political representation, social groups and business groups then they are fair game for collective criticism.

It’s perfectly acceptable to say Asians (especially Koreans) value education more than westerners (and it’s true), but to say whites value education more than blacks is racist.
That was in the ‘60’s. I-95 is a tech corridor and Howard County is home for thousands of NSA and military-industrial complex worker bees. Every neighborhood is integrated but the wealthier ones don’t want to riff-raff sprog in their vaunted screwels.
It is not a dislike of all blacks—which is racism.
It is dislike of a culture (promoted by many blacks and some whites) which encourages impulsive behavior, short-term thinking, dislike of real education, dislike of high standards of behavior, criminal activity, hatred of whites (and hispanics for that matter), and refusal to conform to the norms of civilization.
It is also dislike of affirmative action and other special treatment which treats white people like second class citizens. If there are no blacks around that becomes a non-issue.
In our PC infected nation, truth is not acceptable.
