With the Trump impeachment ball rolling in Washington DC, one person that’s clearly benefiting from this, according to American political analyst Don Debar, is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton has been making rounds on US TV programmes promoting her forthcoming book, which she co-wrote with her daughter, and talking about the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. Appearing on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, Clinton stressed that an impeachment inquiry is "exactly what should be done," especially considering the evidence.
So what’s the evidence? A whistleblower complaint about Trump allegedly inappropriately pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former vice-president and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his family over their business dealings in Ukraine during a phone conversation that took place in July.
In that phone call, Trump asked Zelensky to look into what role Biden played in shutting down an investigation by Ukraine’s chief prosecutor into Burisma Holdings gas company that his son Hunter Biden was a paid board member of, and whether Biden got the former prosecutor - Viktor Shokin - fired over this.
Mrs Clinton, who also called Trump "a corrupt businessman" and said his "campaign asked for aid from Russia," something that was never proven, accused the president of "putting his personal and political interests ahead of the national security of our country," as she spoke to the Late Show host.

The Democrats have failed so badly with the Trump Impeachment inquiry & the absolute useless, terrible assembly of 2020 POTUS candidates running against POTUS, Donald J. Trump. The Democrats will soon be hunting for a viable (there is none) candidate to oppose DJT for the POTUS slot in 2020. Hillary Clinton will jump in, take the 2020 POTUS nomination and promptly destroy what is left of the current Democrat Party politically!!! Case Closed!!!
She is going for the Soros look.
Warren can trounce phony Hillary in the Democratic primary.
She really thinks she is entitled to be President.
The Democrats know Hillary is past her sell by date.
Trump has a positive track record and several years of experience and is getting better daily.
My opinion is that many conservatives don’t grasp why we’re seeing this frantic rush to impeach our president at this time. We conservatives tend to be realistic and practical in our thinking and immediately want to point out that there is no evidence of any wrong-doing or viable grounds for impeachment and that even if there was there’s no chance of conviction in the Senate.
The Left doesn’t do things for practical, realistic reasons. They are happy to create all sorts of noise and tumult over an impeachment process that can never succeed. I believe part of the motivation here is to get Biden out of the race, he’s shown himself to be unfit in many ways. Also the constant media coverage will influence some voters, and the Democrats know they will be able to push their side of the story no matter what the facts are.
For other examples of ridiculous impractical things Democrats do regardless of whether or not they work see any of their policies.
Precisely! It gets Biden out of the race & starts to clear the path for Hellary. Impeachment if it actually comes to and gets a successful vote also helps Hellary. It levels her out vs-a-vs Trump. Trump is now an impeached POTS just like her husband Slick. In her fevered imagination an equivalency has been drawn between Slick & Trump. Now that debit against her as been removed she is now more “electable”.
I also think there is a rational Rat argument for letting her run. Another failure, particularly if its whopping big failure could remove the Clinton shadow once and for all times from the Rat party.
And a miracle could happen - She wins!
“She’s been through enough” as quoted by President Trump is haunting this nation. She lost the election but she is winning in her vendetta by fueling Deep State and Never Trumpers in the coup.
Personal beneficiaries also include the Congressional Reps running against President Trump who abused their office for personal gain by voting to impeach him. Isn’t that that same charge they are trying to hang on President Trump?
