I have been having the same thoughts for a couple of days.
crowdstrike has a lot of former IC employees. It was partially funded by a google subsidiary. Obama admin was very close to google.
This has the feel of a black op company setup by the IC to work outside the boundaries f the govt. it’s like something out of the later Clancy novels.
When DJT was elected, Schumer chastised the president for questioning the IC role in the Russia hoax. “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,”
Trump needs to tear IC this hydra apart. Burn it to the ground, and scatter the ashes to the wind.

Obviously a very well educated Ivy League or think tank analysis. Very worthy of the Swamp. Certainly a PhD, maybe a Harvard professor even. This analysis probably cost the taxpayers a truckload of money in one form or another. It appears to be the sort of concise thinking that becomes the basis for “Defending The Nation”. But the analysis could just as well originated from a super-computer, from leading edge AI, from a glorified slide-rule. The analysis looks to the political, the economic, the mathematical and demographic data extrapolations, and I am sure it is meant to be a help for the Nation... but it totally ignores the spiritual plans of The Almighty. It ignores how God blesses a Nation attempting to bring some glory to God. It ignores how Nations that disobey or provoke God are diminished and even destroyed.
The thinktank analysis above cannot explain Israel BC, the Fall of Egypt and Rome. How was it that The American Revolution succeeded against the power of George 111? I am sure a thinktank in that era would say it was impossible. And what of the miraculous defeat of the Spanish Armada?
