Watching NFL today. Not much about Brown. Note to Brown, “the game is bigger than you.”

Antonio Brown's story reminds me of the following which you young people do not know or maybe do not remember:

In the early 70s there was a dynamite running back for the Dallas Cowboys named Duane Thomas. At some point he suddenly went off of the deep end and starting saying outrageous things about the NFL, the Cowboys, the coach, the players and football in general.

The Cowboys got tired of his antics and cut him. George Allen, the coach of the Redskins signed him to a contract. He did the same kinds of things in Washington. George Allen, who was known to be very tolerant of the idiosyncrasies of players, cut him after about a week or so.

Then.....Jim Brown, yes, THAT Jim Brown who likes to throw defenseless females off of 2nd story balconies, got involved and was Thomas’ ‘advisor.’ At that point I knew that Thomas’ career was finished. He kept bad-mouthing everyone and was backed by the big, strong, tough, Jim Brown who has been in trouble with the law for decades! Brown's most recent catastrophe was a one year stint in the penitentiary.

Thomas went back to the Cowboys but could no longer run the ball crazy because the Cowboys refused to block for him. After years of inactivity he then wrote a book about how he had had ‘mental issues’ in his younger years.

Antonio Brown seems to be in the same boat as Thomas or heading in the same direction. The bottom line is that Duane Thomas ruined his life and now Brown, too.

“Is there something in his contract where he violated some bad behavior clause and they don’t owe him anything?”

There is always a morals clause in all NFL contracts. In other, words, yes, they have to behave themselves or risk harsh repercussions.

That pic makes me want to hate private jets and Rolls Royces.

To own them is to be in pretty bad company. And the rest of those who own them as the result of acquired wealth are mostly Deplorable-hating statists and globalists, anyway.

My 2002 minivan has 250,000 honestly gotten miles. Wouldn’t trade or sell it for the world and if a destination takes more than two days to drive there, I will stay at home.

And the old minivan is a chipless, GPS-less, OnStar-less untraceable dumb machine. Lots to love about that. No state-controlled robot on wheels for me.

‘THE GAME IS BIGGER THAN YOU”. That these players think that they are bigger than the game/team is why I stopped watching 20 years ago.

I guess the only way we’ll see his face will be in future mug shots.

There is a moral clause in the contract. There seem to be conflicting stories over the initial $9 million. However, the majority of his contract went bye bye when he sent threatening texts.

I read his private texts to her from that link. Though I must admit I haven’t yet been able to tell what language they were written in.

AB's got a point about Robert Kraft, who clearly committed a crime, while Brown has been dubiously accused by fairly obvious gold-diggers, who have not gone to the police, nor has he been charged with anything. He basically is out of football for being immature.

Oddly, he mostly behaved himself before a series of brutal concussions a few years back, after which he seems to have gone kind of crazy.

This one was the most horrifying:

He was released for his threatening texts made last week, not for the accusations. The Patriots were helping him with that before he threw it all away.

2002? Are you sure, other than the ignition? Can you do like Bait Car and shut it off remotely?

I’ll do some research.

I used to be glued to the TV completely entranced watching that garbage. Once these bozos started taking a knee and protesting my flag. I turn them off. I have not watched a complete game since. However I did tune in to the Patriots Super Bowl game a couple years ago and had to turn on the TV just to see Brady and the Patriots lose. That was the last time watch the anyting NFL. I love the sport but don’t regret my decision. If they hate our flag in our country so much, they can go to hell.

Oh, boy......right there on eBay, latest `performance enhancing chip’ for 2002 models.

I sure miss distributors, points, & timing lights.

If I install it, will it know what I had for breakfast?
