Man I’m getting old, I go back to when the programming didn’t come on until about 5 p.m. and went off at 10 p.m. A test pattern was on the rest of the time. there were inly one or two channels that’s it.

I remember a Saturday morning program call Winky Dink. It was about a cartoon character that would come to a hill or a canyon and you had a little vinyl screen that clung to the front of the TV tube and you would use a grease pencil and draw him a Rope or a ladder, what every was needed for him to get away.
