and by “order everything good and bad,” I mean He ALLOWS The Evil One to rule this world temporarily- but the Evil One can do nothing unless God allows it- Since man decided to listen to the Evil One- and Not Him, He is ALLOWING us ot face the consequences of our decision- and ALLOWING the Evil One to do the Evil WE decided to follow when we disobeyed God-
See- We didn’t think God was serious about sin- We tho0ught He was just joking, or that the consequences wouldn’t be that bad- but God is a perfectly Holy God- and He MUST judge sin severely-
But the good news is that He has provided a way to escape the condemnation of our souls- He ordered His only Son to die on the cross for us- and all those who accept Him as Savior have their sins forgiven- HOWEVER, We still must deal with the consequences of original sin- That isn’t going away- God was very serious when He told man not to sin- man didn’t listen- now we’re finding out just how serious He was about sin, and we just don’t like it- Noone likes taking responsibility for their actions- but it doesn’t matter whether we like it, accept it or not- we ARE going to continue taking responsibility for what WE decided to do (and yes, every one of us would have disobeyed God at some point- But why would God create us knowing that? Because of free will and sovereign love- We can’t truly love God, or anyone really, UNLESS there is a reason to love them out of free will- and ion order to have free will, one MUST have the ability to CHOOSE good or bad-)
There’s a God- And Yes, God does care- He cares deeply- so deeply that He gave us free will- even knowing that some would reject Him-
Your comments on God’s abilities to bless us even when we don’t deserve it reminds me of the book of Job. It begins with a bet between God and satan. If you read the book it covers pretty much what is going on with our God. He wins.
