Illegals can not get real ID, least not legally. My initial take is this is actually a good and smart response by the feds to a bad California law. If California says you have to pass a background check to buy ammo, then there better not be illegals buying ammo. A little inconvenience for a few legals who don’t yet have real ID, but a great move against CA lawlessness from Sacramento IMO.

“”Can illegals get Real ID?””

Not in CA as CA is not a compliant state with the REAL ID law...as yet

Don't worry the rats will make sure the illegals can get whatever they want while simultaneously doing their best to deny those same things to American citizens.

What I want to know is what happens to the many thousands of Californians that don't have a copy of their birth certificates and never needed a passport?

Of course the work around to this is just going to a adjoining state and make your ammo purchases, it's will cost more in gas but to my mind that is offset by the cheaper price of ammo out of state, being able to freely exercise my rights and the cream on top............denying California it's extra fees and sales tax.
