President Donald Trump claimed executive privilege to block Congress’ access to documents about how a citizenship question was added to the 2020 census.

The move came as the House Oversight and Reform Committee was beginning proceedings Wednesday morning to hold Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with the subpoenas.

Trump has every reason necessary not to trust this Congress, which attacks him irrationally at every turn.

Nice move, Mr. Pres.

You can’t win by being nice with these leftist, pinko jackals.

Why do they need to know how it was added? They don’t NEED to know. They WANT to know so they can retaliate against any individuals involved in getting it included.

Probably a red herring. Let them go crazy, allege that he has swastikas at the top of every page and then release them and all they say is “it would be good if we could estimate the growth in the numbers of taxpayers anticipated over the next 10 years and we could do it if we knew citizenship” or something equally benign. Make the dems look like raving lunatics, which they are.

Back President Trump’s effort to make certain the census form contains the citizenship question in it and no reference to race. But to the country of where the respondent is a citizen of if not an American citizen.
TIME TO END HYPHENATING AMERICANS

One thing the Mexican Constitution has that we should consider doing.Mexico has no hyphenated Mexicans. They prohibit any reference to race when they conduct a census or issue any means of identification, Where a photo id is not available physical description is needed skin color yes but not by race but by nationality..

By doing this Mexico has avoided “balkanizing”, creating fractional disputes in areas where a given group in one of its states is a majority or a minority. Plus it could play a significant part in shutting down the political playing off racial divisions between Americans by the Democrats.
