Aw yeah, it's ya boi Supreme Leader Ren, taking a break from kicking ass to give his thoughts on The Rise of Skywalker. Is this the future? Is it the past? How is Kylo even seeing this stuff? Is Snoke helping him? Paplatine?! Jar Jar???

We saw the trailer for this at the theater the other day. All we could say is Thank God this is the last Star Wars movie.
L
It’s NOT the last. Disney hired the duo that created (and then ruined) Game of Thrones to make a new set.
I would be more upset about the destruction of the Star Wars series if I hadnt already understood that Hollywood is committed to the destruction of our entire culture.
Whether or not got was ruined is a matter of opinion. I thought the ending was great: lve seen it several times now.
Star Wars, however, I wont see at all.
Star Wars has sucked for a long time. I wish it wasn’t so, but it is. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the cinematics from the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. Those are 100 times better than any portion of the movies since Return of the Jedi. Why can video game-makers produce better cinema than professional movie producers?
Me neither. Another boring feminist sermon from Democrat thugs.
OMG, the one I saw last with Daisy Ridley was awful. Whoever cast her as the lead, and dressed her in dirty rags as a costume, should never, ever work in the movie industry again.
There are only 3 Star Wars movies. I don’t recognize the existence of anything after 1984.
I think the problem with GOT was mainly time compaction. They should have adhered to the 10-episode format for the entire run.
Instead of ten separate storylines, over almost three months, people got six or seven, over a month and a half. Both in virtual and real time, too much happened too quickly.
And greater budget and longer time rarely result in more story. I have seen that in tight half-hour or hour-long teevee shows translated to big screen movies that lack the tightness of the show that inspired it.
So: both too much (plot points) and too little (plot and character development) happened over the truncated last two seasons.
Most of the major developments fit my own expectations: I figured Jon would feel compelled to kill Daenerys; I concluded that the best way to Break the Wheel would be to have a ruler without personal ambition, i.e., Bran.
They signalled Dany’s incipient, homicidal (even genocidal) madness through most of the run, but they botched the final presentation. It was in character; they just did not punctuate it adequately at the climax, when it mattered most.
