Fox News' Sean Hannity didn't mince words Wednesday, calling out House Speaker Nancy's Pelosi for her accusation that President Trump "engaged in a cover-up," calling the speaker a figurehead who answers to radical elements in her party led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., the "real speaker of the House."
"Covering up exactly what, Speaker Pelosi? What is the president of the United States covering up? Investigations from the FBI, [Special Counsel] Bob Mueller, House Intel Committee, bipartisan Senate panel, on the same Russia collusion lie, all cleared the president," Hannity said.
"Speaker Pelosi -- by the way, she is only speaker in name only. She has to now capitulate to a radical base led by the real speaker of the House... Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her friends in the radical left."

I also don’t think it was Hannity’s idea to use that language to describe Pelosi. I think it came from someone else. ;)
For an old, senile, drunken crone like Pelosi, ego is everything. To correctly point out that a newly minted congress person wields more power than her drunkenness is a direct, stinging hit.
I'll bet this lack of respect must burn Pelosi's rear, especially after hearing her elitist snub to Conway waying "She doesn't speak to staff, just the President". Well, Pelosi's freshman radicals are treating Pelosi as "staff".

I think what’s going on here is they (the WH) is trying to get Pelosi to step down as speaker, or quit completely.
They’re doing this because they know whoever replaces her will be either (a) more obviously an extreme leftist, or (b) equally unable to control his own caucus as it comes under severe pressure to go to the far left, insane level.
I either case, it’ll be easier to win against them in 2020. They only have to flip around 20 seats in the House to take it back.

Heh, the main difference between the Pelosi-female-gigolo thing and Occasional Cortex is that Pelosi is slightly (but only slightly) better at hiding the fact that she is far, far to the left side of the Bell Curve.
Wouldn’t all of this just be easier if Trump came out and said, “Democrats are so obsessed with impeachment and not helping the country, I’ll make it easy for them. OK, I’m impeached, now get your fat, ugly a$$es back to work.”

Not bad for an over-taught, under-educated ex-bartender you have to admit. I don’t remember any freshman representative in history getting this much media with concomitant, if only perceived, power.
