Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Here are the highlights from AG William Barr’s interview with Bill Hemmer on Fox News Friday morning. This is a big deal.:

“This [The FBI spying on the Trump Campaign] was handled at the very senior levels of these agencies. It wasn’t handled in the ordinary way.”

This is the quotes I'm waiting to see:

"Today the Grand Jury has issued a 128* count indictment against 24* people including Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama, James Comey...

*actual numbers may vary

“...I see my ‘mission’ as being to restore the integrity of the DOJ...”. What makes anyone think he is going to start that process by putting a couple dozen high ranking DOJ officials in prison?

Obama and Holder destroyed what respect I had left for our government and particularly the justice system. It is my hope that AG Barr will restore respect and fairness to the system. It is vitally important that Trump be re-elected to give adequate time for Barr to purge corrupted personnel from our various divisions of government.

When Durham was appointed he was tasked to investigate pre Election Day antics. Will his role be expanded or will we see additional federal attorneys looking at this. Barr clearly stated he wants to investigate post election abuse. Any speculation about Mueller testifying in congress should now be over. Unlike Comey, Mueller understands he has the right to remain silent.

I think your skepticism is fully warranted.

It seems apparent that FBI Director Wray is motivated not to bring FBI misfeasance to light and to justice but to circle the wagons and protect that corporate culture. It is not unreasonable to maintain healthy skepticism about the motives of Atty. Gen. Barr until we see some action.

The early signs are good, the early signs about Wray were not good, indeed, his biography did not suggest that we should have confidence.

I want to believe, and I think we have grounds to believe up until now that William Barr is not Jeff Sessions. Clearly he is not Robert Muller because his biography is simply different. We have a right to hope that he is another Ed Meese.

Partner, u are correct that the "America Hating Piece of Work Obama's Staff and others in his administration" are so guilty of Treasonous Acts against President Trump.

I also counted quite a few folks guilty and I could not believe the no. of folks that are guilty of Treason, period.

Our Atty. General Bill Barr will go after these Treasonous folks like a little Mongoose shaking off the head of a Cobra.

Well, if he is smart, he’ll consider it.

As long as the coup plotters are sitting on panels on CNN and MSNBC laughing it up, the DOJ is going to have an integrity crisis.

Partner, we have to agree on all your points that you brought out.

This guy Christopher Wray who is the current chief of the FBI and he replaced James Comey has a lot of question marks on his performance as the FBI chief. He needs to clean up the mess that James Comey left for the next FBI chief to clean up. He is slowly cleaning up the mess.

We think that Bob Mueller made the USMC ashamed of his performance as the Chief Special Investigator on this so called Russian Hoax. He was horrible in conducting this investigation and since he was very good friends with James Comey. Bob Mueller did not find any Treasonous Acts by James Comey. Now we know there are a lot of Treasonous Acts performed by James Comey.

Sessions was recommended to President Trump and Sessions was one of the worst A.G.'s ever.

We have to remind folks that President Trump was never a politician and he is trying to clean up the swamp that is growing and hard to drain for the past 28 years after one of the greatest presidents in the U.S.A. "President Ronald Wilson Reagan".

Yes, it is too early on Bill Barr but he will find a lot of folks guilty of "Treason". Let us put it this way, if he does not find a lot of folks guilty of "Treason" then Bill Barr was not the A.G. that we needed.

BTW, we already know that the "Russian Hoax" Treasonous Acts is about 100 times worst than Watergate.

The ONLY way to restore integrity, as opposed to a mere appearance of integrity, is by having everyone totally certain that lack of integrity WILL result in prison.

We have six more years to do it

The state should certainly take their time and do a very thorough job of it and have all their ducks lined up when they finally take these people to court

Ideally all that indictment stuff starts going down next summer and reaches a crescendo right around October 2020

Let’s remember the Mueller investigation which was a complete another Farce took two years

Let us assume that Barr is all that we hope he is, would he be well advised now to make some gesture which would reassure us in the base that he is a true man? For example, he could indict Hillary Clinton or those individuals whom James Comey did not give immunity to. He could indict McCabe for lying. On the other hand, would he be better off biding his time and presenting a coherent, comprehensive picture to the American public of the obstruction of justice exonerating Hillary Clinton and the attempted frame up of Donald Trump?

Let us assume that Barr is not all that we hope he is, is he well advised to continue making dark comments about "spying" and permitting inferences that the stories he's getting from the FBI our not "hanging together?" I think he is quite consciously creating expectations that he would be foolish to do if he intended only to disappoint.

On the other hand, I can see that he might want to pretend at this point to be a fearless Knight Templar assaying only to do justice so that when he waffles later on he has a basis of credibility as cover. That it seems was the pattern of James Comey. I do not want to appear naïve but I find this last scenario unlikely to be the modus operandi of Atty. Gen. Barr.

You have pretty well described Modified, Limited Hangout (MLH). Let out just enough information to reassure and distract. As people become more distracted the intervals of the drips and dabs can increase. Keep people calm by guaranteeing them the their concerns are being heard. Just enough that the rubes don’t get riled up. Drag it out until almost no one can even remember what the fuss was all about. They did this at Kent State, at the Ludlow Massacre, and they are doing it right now (about 5 years in) at the Twin Peaks Massacre.

I recognize all the elements of MLH here. As you started out, if he was going to arrest anybody we know he could do it today.

Mr. Wray needs to be told in NO uncertain terms the he is to cooperate with the Justice Department or we (AG,Trump) will find some who will do it !

Wray is now, and always has been, a crap weasel along with his co-conspirators. I am waiting to see that smug look wiped off of his face — and his hair mussed up, just for good measure.
