When the head of Twitter's public policy department told the Senate he'd do more on conservative censorship, making it worse wasn't what most leaders had in mind! Unfortunately, that's exactly what seems to be happening -- to pro-lifers, Trump supporters, and even popular parody accounts. Three weeks ago, Carlos Monje Jr. was apologetic for the mistakes Twitter had made. A month later, he has a lot more to be sorry for.
Their stories are different, but several victims of Twitter's bias have one thing in common: no one explained why. Mike Morrisson, who's been running a popular "AOC Press" account as a joke, said he was banished from the platform on Monday night. "I still don't really know why," he wrote in Human Events. "I have my suspicions, but no one's really tried to explain it to me." His parody of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) had over 80,000 followers. "It was pretty funny, even if I do say so myself." Apparently, Twitter wasn't laughing -- which is more than a little hypocritical, since social media has made mocking the president a cottage industry.
But there are some dark implications of this conservative blackout, Morrisson warns. "This is a nation which reveres, at its core, the rights of individuals to express themselves politically, lawfully." The fact is, he goes on, "as we move closer to the 2020 election, a number of high-profile, high follower, conservative accounts are being banned. In total, we have lost access to millions, maybe even tens of millions of impressions over the past few days. This is election interference."

It isn’t just “Conservative” accounts being banned. Any sites posting on non interventionism or posting vid’s of atrocities by US allies is getting banned, shadow banned, search banned, suspended.
What about forcing Rush Limbaugh to allow equal time to leftists hosts and guests?
Fight Twitter in the marketplace. If enough conservatives leave, Twitter would go belly-up. Because reading Tweets by liberals screeching against Trump doesn't pay Twitter bills.
And please, don't give me this crap about "MUH, WHAT IF ATT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST CONSERVATIVES WITH THE TELEPHONE??" Totally different argument. Not the same.
Apples and Oranges. Facebook and Twitter were funded by US Government money. Twitter and Facebook get government IT work. Twitter and FB have legal protection from content based lawsuits because they are supposed to be neutral channels. They should be liable for content based lawsuits as editors and publishers.
Ask a university how long they can take federal money and still flip the finger to a raft of EEOC laws. Ask any contractor from Lockheed-Martin on down whether or not that work comes with a metric F-ton of rules, regulations and EEOC.
FR on the other hand gets no federal money. FR can be sued over content in some circumstances. FR avoids certain publishers for that reason.
FR is nothing like Facebook or twitter legally speaking. Eat the cracker jacks...throw the law degree prize inside aay.

Sorry sport. It IS the same. ATT and Verizon are common carriers and do not exercise content control. They interfere with nobody. And because of that status, nobody can sue ATT or Verizon because of what happens on their network.
Facebook has the same legal protection from litigation that ATT does, but they also exercise editorial and publisher control. Hell, they are now literally creating content.
If they want to be private and discriminate, they should lose all legal protection and government contracts for any IT services whatsoever. And even that probably isn’t enough. Facebook was created with CIA venture capital. It is a government operation. Facebook can no longer hide behind “private company” because they coordinate strategy with the government and do things the government cannot. But in coordination... that is called “fascism”.
FB does the suppression and censorship of ideas that the government wants, and Govt rewards FB with legal protection and contracts. A public private partnership.
Just as Mussolini envisioned.
