Chicago Mayor-elect Lightfoot says she’d welcome immigrants if Trump sends them

Chicago Mayor-elect Lori Lightfoot said illegal immigrants are always welcomed to her city, even if President Trump is the one sending them there.
On Friday, Trump confirmed reports that he was seriously considering relocating asylum seekers who exceeded their 20 days in custody to Democratically controlled sanctuary cities nationwide.
Lightfoot, who was recently elected mayor, appeared on CNN and reaffirmed the sanctuary policies in her city.
She dismissed Trump as being “provocative” and told CNN anchor
Anderson Cooper that her city has been dealing with asylum seekers for decades. Trump's threats are “much ado about nothing.”

Let her lead the way and show the other sanctuary cities how it’s done.
I’m of the thinking that since her platform is all about getting rid if the Hate, in the city, rather than tackling the death, shooting and violence, adding a few hundred thousand illegals will do the trick. She’ll have the black gangs slugging it out with MS13 and all the other illegals from south of the border. That city will be a bloodbath, more so than it is now.

Detroit is a sanctuary city. Back in 2018 the city council passed an ordinance that required that all city funded construction work had to be done by companies with a work force comprised of at least 51% Detroit residents.
Some of those companies have come under fire for not meeting that requirement but their argument is that they couldn't find enough Detroiters with the skills required.
So, if Detroit becomes the recipient of these relocated illegals, guess who's getting the jobs and doing the work Detroiters don't want to do?
