The opening credits of the 1960 film "Where The Boys Are," filmed in 1959, inadvertently proves that despite the hype to the contrary, there has been NO noticeable sea level rise in South Florida. This observation of the aerial shot of the Ft. Lauderdale beaches in that movie as a way to compare to the width of today's beaches was first made several years ago by Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane show on WWNN radio.
This video takes that film clip and compares it with recent aerial photos of the beaches in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Also revealed in this video is the shocking identity of the global warming promoter making the the most absurd claims of them all about supposedly rising sea levels.
PING!
It also says something about the sad state of science when claims are so flimsy they can be rebutted by the evidence in a fifty year old beach party flick.
Boys, not Buoys.
One can look at any historic fort, lighthouse, or structure on any coastline worldwide and there is no significant change, sometimes over hundreds of years! I personally do not know of any place that is now, especially in last 10, 20, or hundred years, that has changed. There are plenty of places that are hundreds of years old, still sitting on the water’s edge just like the day they were built. Sea Level Rise is a Fraud.
LOL!!
So....where are the calls to immediately relocate New York City to higher ground? Should take about 12 years to accomplish.
Better shake a foot, AOC.
Pronounced A-yok, not A-Oh-see.
Yep, according to Al Gore’s “Earth in the Balance” Florida is supposed to be underwater now.
Global warming is a scam, but Fort Lauderdale beach has been built up by the jetty for the Port Everglades channel. Likewise the beach south of Port Everglades in Hollywood has been eroded.
This is easy to check on Google Maps.
And here’s a related story:

Living between Brwd Blvd and Las Olas from 72 to 2002 how many times was Ft Laud Bch all the way up to LDBTS dredged and what would it look like if that had not taken place ?
Wait for the explanation that same level proves there is warming.
SIXTY year old beach party flick.
This movie would certainly offend the sensibilities of today’s liberal leftist types.
A movie about girls who hope to meet boys at the beach? What about lesbian or trans whatever females, what about their hopes to meet someone?
Dolores Hart who starred in this movie became a nun a few years later.
The country had looser gun laws back then...how many mass school shootings by mentally ill kids were there?
I have literally had arguments about how much they claim that the ocean level has risen in the last 50 years while sitting on a boat moored facing a concrete pylon that has been used to track the local mean sea level since at least WWII and which pretty much documents no significant change since then
Very buzzard. AGW science exists in own strange little hermetically sealed reality and no rational argument, no matter how well documented, can penetrate the seal to contaminate the false virtual reality world they have created for themselves
The current situation transcends the Lysenkoism of Stalins Russia, which I totally get. Any scientist that disagreed with Stalin was either sent to the gulags or ended up being washed down the drain of the basement floor of the Lubyanka. Now, if you are a climate denier, its the the scientists who send you to the gulags and pretty soon they may just start sending people to the basement of the Lubyanka
Its very strange and really quite disturbing to point out to otherwise brilliant scientists and technical people that their claims of 6 plus sea level changes in a matter of a few short decades are totally false and completely refuted by indisputable hard evidence only a few feet away and have them tell me Im the one who is crazy - and a danger to the future of civilization because I am a climate denier.
There have been frequent beach renourishment projects in that area over the decades. The comparison isn’t really relevant becuase of these efforts.
