Phillies picked for 3rd place.
This looks exactly like last year. The Braves are in trouble now that their #1 pitcher has elbow soreness. Otherwise, they would have been a bigger factor.
The Yankees will win more than 98. The Red Sox were damn near perfect last year but their bullpen is a mess. They’re going to drop big time.
IF IF IF the Mets can score some runs and IF IF IF their pitching stays healthy, they may just surprise people. DeGrom could have won 30 games last season if the Mets could have scored.
FUPhilly
My Tigers and Rangers will still suck.
Interesting to see.
While there’s excitement in Philly about Bryce Harper, it would appear that he alone is not enough to put the Phillies over the top, based on these predictions. At least not this season anyway.
The Nats have had more than their share of injuries in the last couple of years. They are overdue for a halfway healthy season. But apart from Max Scherzer, the pitching collapsed. Did they do enough to rebuild it? Strasberg is an ace when he’s healthy, but he can’t stay healthy. Fingers crossed about the rest of the pitching staff.
The key for this year is seeing how Harper gets along with the teammates, and if future Free Agents will be encouraged to play in Philly with Harper, or will he drive away other potential Free Agents.
My son and daughter-in-law have had Nats season tickets for the last few years. They’re about a four minute UBER ride from the stadium.
I usually start paying attention to baseball around mid-August.
Yeah ... Im afraid youre right on that. Bummer.
I'll take Drive Away for a hundred, gator.
No game has been played yet and its already over?
Red Sox vs Yankees. That is probably the best rivalry in all of sports.
That's why I'm a pessimist, I'm never disappointed.
I predict a total of 2430 wins this season.
I can’t wait to hear Bryce Harper’s answer when he’s asked what he thinks of AOC’s proposed 70 percent tax rate.
The most underrated superstar in MLB history...and why I bat/golf left handed even though I'm right handed
Yep, Mets had a lot of bad luck last year, luck tends to even out over time.
So, I will go with:
Indians - Mets World Series
Same number of hits at home as on the road over his career.
This may be a year I sit out or only listen to my mets on the radio, stupid Xfinity/Comcast kept raising my rates so I cut the cord.
Unfortunately getting MLB.tv is pointless as they blackout all local games.
I agree that the Red Sox's time has come and temporarily gone. OTOH, if the Rays can avoid too many injuries and find or trade for a decent closer, they could go above 90 wins and make the playoffs, but those are two big ifs.
I would laugh my butt off if the Marlins shocked everyone and took that division. Probably would need complete injury collapse from everyone else for that to happen.
