The Yankees will win more than 98. The Red Sox were damn near perfect last year but their bullpen is a mess. They’re going to drop big time.

I agree that the Red Sox's time has come and temporarily gone. OTOH, if the Rays can avoid too many injuries and find or trade for a decent closer, they could go above 90 wins and make the playoffs, but those are two big ifs.

They were unbelievably good last year. But something in me says that “opener” methodology will not work out so well again this year. Snell is great. But there’s not much after him.
