If the President loses at the S/C it means our representative republic is no more. The executive and the legislative branches MUST re-exert their authority. Five unelected justices were never given the constitutional authority to be absolute monarchs responsible to no higher authority, except to God, who they ignore!

Given your experience, tell me if you think this could be an accurate story. One that was told to me by a close friend(in bullet point style)

- man gets fed up with the schools and how they’re being run.

- runs for school board and wins

- gets there and sees just how corrupt, incompetent, indifferent the board and leadership really are. Just care about the money and how much they can bring in

- principal in one of the schools gets caught stealing money..a pretty significant amount

- what do you think the phone calls he received, were about? They were about who was going to be the starting quarterback for the varsity football team and the original start was injured. No one cared about the principal stealing their money.

- he didn’t run again.

Do you think that’s believable? It happened.

You know, I wonder about this. Do, we the people, continue to vote for these entitled elistist jerks? Or is the vote controlled by the voting machines? I have a very hard time finding Republicans who vote for McConnell et al, in the primaries. I question whether these people are elected at all. We need paper ballots, voter ID with proof of citizenship and proof of residency, and voting only on election day! As well, we need bipartisan observers, law enforcement, and iron clad rules regarding the handling of the ballots. If we don’t restore the sanctity of the vote, nothing else really matters.

(Personally I would favor enlarging the house significantly as our population has grown — if we have to build a new house to accommodate them so what? And, I would favor 3 senators from each state, one running every 2 years, and the power to recall senators and representatives. I would also favor, voter approval of S/C justices in the next election after they are appointed, and then every 10-12 years after that.)

There is what the article STATES and there is what the provisos MEAN IRL.

I can sh!+post, too. Just because the WT finds people to make statements does not make it more authoritative than the analysis of people like Wickof who are experts in the process and experienced in the real time expediencies.

But, go ahead. Bemoan and wring your hands in despair. In 7 months let’s see who was correct: Trump and his team, the experienced professionals or the hair-on-fire crew.

I am convinced we are watching a sophisticated gaslighting operation. Unfortunately, you are evidence (sadly not alone) it works.

I see evidence of precise military planning in the sequence of events past, present and outlined for the future.

POTUS is making the commies own every last syllable. Commies, not Ds or Rs. Bought and paid for future dacha-owners who still can’t see past their payoffs and bribes. I’m beginning to hear more and more so-called *normies* wake up, as well. It will come down to fraud in 2020. I cannot believe POTUS and the patriots don’t know this and they don’t have plans in place. But, we’ll see, of course.

Schools:
You have some trenchant points. Schools are local. So, in Sanctuary cities/counties/states, they can do as they like. But schools are supported, in part, by the Feds. In the designated places, there are fewer taxpayers, increased numbers of illegal children whose families pay no taxes and more and more reasons for Federal monies to be withheld or have strings attached. There’s typhus in LA City Hall. What must the schools be like? How many teachers will risk their lives and health for a pension and tenure? I am amazed they put up with it, especially black American teachers seeing themselves put at risk by contemptuous invaders. It boggles.

I actually share your angst, which is why I read everything compulsively, even when I should be doing more productive things. Here I am,elderly, living rural and self-employed in the northern heartland, less at risk than many others and there are nights I can’t sleep for the horrific dreams and days it is difficult to concentrate because of the waking nightmares.

The wins are beams of sunlight and balmy breezes needed to keep on keeping on. So, I seek the wins out and try to pass them along.

>>Safeguarding America’s security—and American lives—should be paramount and non-negotiable<<

.
That seems a logical conclusion but logic and American political thinking went out the window some time ago. Just wait till they elect the next BHO.

President Trump’s Proclamation of a National Emergency on the Southern Border has ensured that the consequences of the illegal entry of drugs, criminals and foreigners through that porous border will now be owned by the Congress and not the President—guaranteeing him certain victory in the 2020 Presidential elections.

The rush to test the legal validity of Trump’s Proclamation in the Courts was clearly in Trump’s mind even before he had signed the final papers:
.

“So the order is signed. And I’ll sign the final papers as soon as I get into the Oval Office. And we will have a national emergency, and then we will then be sued, and they will sue us in the Ninth Circuit, even though it shouldn’t be there. And we will possibly get a bad ruling, and then we’ll get another bad ruling. And then we’ll end up in the Supreme Court, and hopefully we’ll get a fair shake.”

Trump’s readiness to go the whole distance to the Supreme Court - doing what he personally can to resolve what he clearly perceives to be the ”National Security and Humanitarian Crisis on our Southern Border”—signals huge political problems for the Democrats.

Trump’s use of the words “our Southern Border” is very instructive and should be noted very carefully by the Democrats - heading a queue of eager litigants who cannot wait to get Trump into Court and hand him the thrashing of all thrashings in the confident expectation their interpretation of the law will triumph over that of Trump’s legal team.

Each:

cache of drugs now discovered at an unfenced spot in the porous border,
murder, assault, traffic incident resulting in death or serious injury or robbery in an American home - caused by an entrant into America other than through an authorised point of entry (unlawful entrants) and
death by drug overdose

will be sheeted home to the Democrats in a torrent of Trump Tweets using blunt and unforgiving terms for which Trump has become renowned.

Each new caravan arriving at the Southern border will be another nail in the Democrats’ coffin.

These incidents will be duly reported in detail on Fox News 24 hours a day—and they will be very hard to be ignored by what Trump calls the “fake news”.

Angel Moms and Dads sitting front row at Trump’s press conference - will be frontline in this long battle—as Trump told the large gathering of media representatives:

“I have such respect for these people. Angel Moms, Angel Dads, Angel Families. I have great respect for these people. These are great people. These are great people. They’re fighting for their children that have been killed by people that were illegally in this country.

And the press doesn’t cover them; they don’t want to, incredibly. And they’re not treated the way they should be. They’re fighting for other people because they don’t want what happened to their children or husband or anybody.”

Whether Trump gets a fair shake or not in the Courts—he can only end up a winner in the voters’ minds when the final decision of the Supreme Court is issued.

If Trump wins—his position will have been vindicated—and Congress will wear the odium of the consequences of a porous Southern border during the unedifying fight through the Courts.

If Trump loses—Congress will still bear the odium of those consequences and any future consequences of failing to close that border.

Further negotiations between Trump and Congress are urgently needed to end Congress’s looming disaster. Safeguarding America’s security—and American lives—should be paramount and non-negotiable.

It is entirely believable based on my personal experience and observations. I wouldn’t doubt that you could find a dozen extremely similar stories around the country if you had the wherewithal to look for them.

Lincoln thought about arresting Chief Justice Taney. So Trump could do the same to Roberts if he tries to stop him from exercising his powers as President.

Here we go, can’t really debate my points to we resort to sh*tslinging.

You say that the President and his team are orchestrating a precise military operation. You say that he and his team have read over every 1200 pages and have detailed any and all ways to defeat all the goodies that the Left has thrown in there. Question....how in the hell do you know that? Were you in the room during the strategy sessions? How late did you stay up debating what needed to be done? Are you saying that the President and his closest advisers went through all 1200 pages, yet Congress did not?

As @JessicaV_CIS notes, there is a serious amnesty/sanctuary provision snuck into the spending bill.

Section 224(a) would make it so ICE cannot detain or remove anyone who has effectively any kind of relationship (even just as a “potential sponsor”) with any unaccompanied minor: pic.twitter.com/QITiAEVw1w

Remember, @realDonaldTrump signed that #omnibus last year, on promise he’d get his wall funding. They lied to him. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…

— Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) February 14, 2019

I have faith in the President that he knows far more than any of us. However, just look at how long it takes to build ONE house. And that is something that people want and don’t sue you over. California filed it’s lawsuit as the President as soon as they could. And the 9th Circuit, how they get away with it is beyond me, is going to issue an injunction that the President will abide by, while he waits to go to SCOTUS. And while all of that happens, they will begin to pour over our border by the thousands. He won’t be able to lay one brick fast enough to stop what is coming.

I don’t know where you live, but I live in a semi rural area outside Atlanta. Up until about 2.5 years ago, I saw few, very few hispanics. Now, they’re everywhere. And when I see them, it isn’t just one or two. It’s a mother with 3 or 4 kids and another one on the way.

You say that he’s allowing them to own this. He signed the bill. He didn’t have to. They had a veto proof majority. Let them enact the law, on their own. Let them go on all the shows and tell the world about how uncooperative the President is/was. And when they border explodes, as it is going to, a problem the Veto Proof Congress brought on, they won’t be able to blame anyone but themselves.

I find it amazing that, like you said, folks don’t know anyone that voted for this person or that person. I don’t think that our initial laws and the people that wrote them, ever envisioned such malice and hatred one group has over another and how, in their quest for domination, they’d be willing to forgo all sense of integrity and honesty. If you think about it, what the Left does and promotes, completely out in the open, is treasonous.

The Left talks about foreign interference. obama was flagrant about trying to get rid of Netanyahu and illegally used taxpayer money. The Left didn’t care about that, but they do care about “collusion”. Something they cannot explain and the Senate Intel committee just stated did not happen.

But, they want everyone and anyone to be able to vote in the US, whether they’re here legally or illegally. It does not matter. I wonder how enthusiastic they’d be if all the illegals and refugees started voting for the Republicans.

You make some very good points, IMO, but I think before we increase the size of the House, we need to get a solid handle on who actually is in our country. None but citizens should be counted and I wonder how much different places like NY and California would look, if those numbers were corrected.

With regards to your point about the machines, etc. I’m tending to agree and it is very scary to think that we’re wasting our time, b/c some omnipotent entity is picking the winners and losers.

This is frightening......... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t75xvZ3osFg

So, according to you, we’re just wasting our tome and effort to get the wall built and might as well just forget it so we don’t have some potential disappointments later.....

No that is not what I said.

What I said was that if we do not get the wall built and stop the invasion, the symbolic victory of being able to place the blame on the left has no value at all in the real world while we are being overrun.
