Tweets at link. IT's actually sad what the National Review has degenerated into. Maybe it's time for it to go the way of the Weekly Standard.

Rich Lowry is deeply chagrinedEven their statements are pompous.
Burn the mess to the ground.

It should have died the moment they fired John O’Sullivan and exiled immigration patriots like Peter Brimelow.

They have a handful of people left to still do good work most notably Victor Davis Hanson and Andy McCarthy. But the rest of them especially that arrogant jackass Kevin Williamson and TDS to the point of mouth foaming David French have destroyed the magazine

For shame. They should grovel in their apology.

National Review is a steaming pile of .... Is Bill Kristol still involved with that crap?
To: Impala64ssa
Isn’t this the ‘conservative’ publication that has recently decided to (drastically) downsize it’s staff?
I think our ‘pal’ Bill Kristol worked for them too.

Eh, always a controlled opposition CIA front.

>>Nicholas Frankovich penned a piece called The Covington Students Might as Well Have Just Spit on the Cross, which was published at 3 a.m. on Sunday.<<
He hasn't retracted on his Twitter. And, as long as we're at it, when will the Covington Diocese, School, and Mayor offer their retractions.

The kids and school may sue. Hope they go the way of Rolling Stone.
Also hoping all the trolls are named who jump on those bandwagon and lose bigly.
To: Impala64ssa
Several times today, I appealed to NR writer Nick Frankovich to delete that ridiculous piece comparing the kids to Roman soldiers crucifying Christ. He wouldn’t budge. Apparently he did now. Sad.

National Review has always been first to throw people into the woodchipper. Joseph Sobran, Peter Brimelow, Theodore Dalrymple, yet they elevate morons and hacks like Kevin Williamson, Jonah Goldberg, and David French.
The magazine should go under like the Weekly Standard.

The author posted it himself at 3 AM without oversight? Expect a trip to rehab to avoid the ax.

I wonder if they've made a job offer to Jason Leopold yet.
