The Truth About Thomas Jefferson's Koran
Canada Free Press ^ | 01/08/19 | Jim O'Neill

Posted on 01/08/2019 11:26:19 AM PST by Sean_Anthony

I do not believe that he bought a copy of the Quran in order to glean "knowledge and wisdom," but rather to better understand America's enemies

Obama is on record as stating that "Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding." Is that true? Well yes, sort of.

If by "woven into the fabric of our country" you mean "following the Revolutionary War, Muslims were America's first international enemies," then yes, it's true. Muslim pirates helped to kick start the US Navy into existence. Anchors aweigh Islam!

They can be thanked for the term “leatherneck”.

Yes, not much to understand. They are an evil cult whose members should be challenged to renounce or else. China is throwing them in prison, their choice. We kill some, not enough, on the battlefield. What about the ones here in our communities? Put all on watch lists? Remove from jobs? Disarm? (Should add the question on gun forms just like they used to ask if the buyer was a communist, etc.). Root them out. If they are not citizens, use existing laws to revoke their visas and authorization to be in the US. Deport them.

Wouldn’t this have been about the same time Jefferson was dealing with the bloodthirsty islamic Barbary Pirates?

Did he take a pair of scissors to it, the way he did the New Testament?

“From the Halls of Montezuma, to the Shores of Tripoli”, our history is full of freedom’s enemies. Evil has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding, and America was built to serve as a bulwark against that evil.

The leatherneck collar was adopted on the uniform three years before the Barbary Pirates war.

Jefferson studied moslems the way Jane Goodall studied chimps.

I’m gona go out on a limb and say maybe 10% of Muslims are for reformation and don’t agree with the harsher parts of the Koran. The others are not to be trusted and must be checked.....we might well be at the edge of another crusade!

FWIW, (which ain’t much IMO,) Rashida Tlaib has clarified that she used her own personal copy of the Quran, not Ben Franklin’s, for her ceremonial swearing in to Congress.

In our communities.

SINCE 9/11, they have grown exponentially “IOC”. Certainly in my commie-laden self-flagellating apologist town.

Americans roll over to prove they’re not “racist”, even after they’ve been killed by the thousands in a massive ambush.

Hence, in the last 5 years, even in this “diverse” town, I’ve seen a MASSIVE increase in towel-heads in our area, and they ain’t Sikhs.

Totally agree with this premise; just not sure if it goes far enough. How on earth can a believing Muslim possibly be an elected official in the U.S. gov’t.? Their belief system is total antithesis to our Constitution. The ones who allowed these people to even be nominated should be subject to prosecution as well. They should have one simple choice to make.....renounce Islam or move to a country that recognizes it. Furthermore, they need to be watched to be certain that they follow up on their decisions.

http://press-pubs.uchicago.edu/founders/documents/amendI_religions52.html

...Those who are Mahometans, or any others who are not professors of the Christian religion, can never be elected to the office of President, or other high office, but in one of two cases.

First, if the people of America lay aside the Christian religion altogether, it may happen. Should this unfortunately take place, the people will choose such men as think as they do themselves...

...I leave it to gentlemen’s candor to judge what probability there is of the people’s choosing men of different sentiments from themselves...

I’m not sure what Obama meant by it, but I’m guessing he was thinking of Muslims brought as slaves. Which is certainly true.

Of course it’s also true that West-Central Africa had Christian states. The King of Kongo was recognized as a head of state in Europe and corresponded with the Pope. That hardly ever gets mentioned.

W the treasonous dumbass let in 850,000 after 9/11, and increased Saudi visas 16 fold. Obama almost exactly matched him. Adding in the anchor babies they whelped when they arrived, our betters have allowed in almost 2 million moslems since 9/11. They well and truly destroyed this country.

As an example of how bad this 2 million Muslims over 20 years is, consider the following;
According to the most generous estimates, of Henry Louis Gates, around 425,000 African slaves were brought to the continental United States. This occurred over a 225 year period.
Today that seed a 425,000 people has exploded about a hundred fold to around 40 million African-Americans today.
What will be the effect of adding 2 million, of a very hostile culture in 20 years?

Bush, Cheney, Obama, and all of the religion of Peace bleating neocons dumped a bunch of cyanide into the soup. And we will never get it out. Our grandchildren will curse us

No, the slaves brought in were not moslems. Islam was nowhere in West Africa where the slaves were captured. They brought in a mix of tribal beliefs and religions.

The War on Terror has brought the terrorists here in droves.

The War on Drugs has brought druggers here in hordes.

The government is allied with our enemies.

There are records from the time that show that Jefferson purchased a Koran in 1765, at the time he was a law student. The treaty ending the Revolutionary War was signed in 1783.
