God ties His Character to
The Fulfillment of Bible
Prophecy.
I like that.
That's the grand irony that sails right overhead of the prophecy merchants.
Jesus overturned the tables of the house of merchandise.
Case in point, the author of this book states that
A full one-third of the Bible is prophecy.
He's oblivious to the other 2/3rds then. History is prophecy because people don't learn from history, so it repeats.
How many will curse God's character when history (prophecy) is fulfilled in ways that they didn't expect or predict? And how much of that ire would be rooted in their realizing it was a lost opportunity to sell a book?
A lot of theory hinges upon the definition of "this generation". All sorts of debates and disagreement about what Jesus meant with the phrase. The simple answer is that this generation is that generation.
