I’d prefer a double cheeseburger and fries with some onion rings for Thanksgiving. An RC to drink.
My wife gets really irked at my choice. It has to be the big overkill meal.

I don't mind the meal at all,but then, I'm not cooking it.
Wife just announced that this is the last year she's cooking - from now on it's off to a restaurant then back home for coffee and dessert.
The really big "overkill" nowadays is Christmas. Damned media begins tauting in October and by Thanksgiving, I'm sick of it. It's so bad even my grandkids call me "grumpy grandpa!"
