We’ve come to know and love Jim Acosta’s ridiculous, narcissistic antics at White House press conferences, so it was all in all good news he was being allowed back in to make a fool of himself all over again.

Friday, a judge ruled that the White House must give the CNN reporter (I use that term loosely) his hard pass back, which granted him access to the White House grounds.

Acosta’s hard pass had been temporarily revoked after he refused to hand the microphone back to a White House intern per the President’s instructions.

Your simple idea is direct and effective! I can see the President's team resorting to this tactic if necessary. If some leftist dingbat physically grabs the boom microphone to prevent it from wafting away in the midst of an unhinged rant, then the slobbering lunatic can be forcibly arrested, dragged away, and prosecuted for felony robbery, disorderly conduct, and whatever other criminal charges can be made to stick in a court of law. The schadenfreude will be strong!

Because he submitted to the authority of the courts rather than tell the court they hold no authority over who can be uninvited to the White House . No more than a President can tell a Federal Judge who to allow into his courtroom. As a civilian he has to comply with the authority of the Court . As a President he gets to insist on the equality of the 3 branches. In fact he should insist on it to maintain that balance.
