She should shut up and go to Congress Class ,LOL
This congresswoman elect may be dumber than a box of rocks and eats tons and tons of bowls of Stupid for breakfast - BUT - she is a microcosm of her generation. If you attack her for her stupidity you attack her generation.”””
I was helping a high school senior with some simple bookkeeping lessons. I brought out a small electric calculator with a roll of paper & put it on the table we were working on. He looked at that calculator like it was a rattle snake.
“WHAT IS THAT?” A Calculator.
He grabs his phone-—”I have a calculator here!”
OK- I say—”Make me a tape of the following columns added up.”
Stopped him in his tracks.
I have absolutely NO PROBLEM attacking her generation.
They are a complete loss.
AND—She has a college diploma!!!
I can teach a pig to square dance before Brit Hume can get anything across to Williams.
The Supreme Court is not one of the three branches of government. The Judicial branch is.
Actually, the 3rd branch is NOT “The Supreme Court”. It’s the “judicial power”: “The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish,”, according to Article III Section 1 of our Founding document, which almost nobody in America reads any more.
Good grief. I’m 51 and I use a calculator on my phone. Why does it have to be on a paper tape?
Sometimes a paper tape is necessary so one can check the input for accuracy. Without a tape how can you know you didn’t make an entry mistake? The paper tape is auditable! This is necessary especially when the numbers don’t come out right, or in balance. Even a “backwoods-engineer” sometimes has to “work it out in pencil and on paper”! [Signed, “backwoods-CPA”.]
There is this thing called “Excel”...
EXCEL is an excellent example of what I’m talking about—it creates a visual record that can be audited. The virtue of the “paper tape” (that started this discussion) is not the literal paper, but the visual record that can audited, so EXCEL is analogical to the paper tape.
Well actually, neither does the headline writer.

The Supreme Court is PART of one of the three branches; the judicial. The other two are legislative and executive.
Yes, we normally say Congress and the President/Administration for those.
Actually, the "Supreme Court" is not a branch of the government, it is part of the Judicial Branch. That's akin to saying that the President is a branch of the government. The President is part of the Executive Branch.
Not to say that Occasionally-Coherent isn't an airhead more at home mixing drinks at some dive bar than making laws for the country, but let's not make ourselves look just as dumb by making equally false statements.
That’s right; the enemedia moved the goalposts, so centrist views appear “conservative” - and genuine conservative views disappear from the general discourse.
It seems as part of a general dumbing down to keep viewership up they have to push leftist ideology as well (for stupid viewers, who are often leftist viewers).
