UNHCR is a prime example of a globalist institution out of control.
Members of the first of several Central American migrant “caravans” have already arrived at the U.S. border with Mexico. Some of the migrants scaled or crawled through barrier fences, attempting to move onto U.S. soil illegally. So far, Border Patrol agents have been dealing with the situation, but they may have more difficulty as more migrants arrive en masse and try to enter the United States illegally. It was to deter such entry that President Trump issued a proclamation that would deny political asylum to migrants crossing illegally into the country. They are required to enter only at the official ports of entry and wait patiently to be processed for possible asylum hearings.
Gallup does a survey of the Central American nations and estimates 5 million would emigrate to USofA if ‘given’ a chance. If you included failed-economy Venezuela, God only knows what number that would make it.
Now, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) states on Friday that the USofA must abide by its treaty obligations and admit many to most of these who “... are fleeing life-threatening violence or persecution.” What is required for understanding is that the mandate it operates under is ‘ ... to protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people, and assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.’ Note that nothing in this ‘mandate’ speaks about the receiving country’s sovereignty or control of their border.
It is VERY PERTINENT to remember that the entire UN, as an organization, has an operational philosophy to work for a single world government. As such, sovereign rights like borders and immigration control are to be deprecated and removed wherever and whenever possible.
I pray that President Trump tells the United Nothing to go pound sand and take a hike. This is our country. Damn I hate the U.N.
Anyone attacking our border should be shot on principle. Any pain and agony that causes the global communist regime (UN) is merely a fringe benefit.
