The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
It seems as of late the US has drifted from a republic to more of a courtacracy.
How many decisions of "We the People" have been passed at the ballot box only to be overturned by a judge?
In this last presidential election many voted for Trump over Hillary knowing control of the Supreme Court was up for grabs.
Has our country now become so dependent upon having judges in place who will uphold the Law or make the Law? 2018 certainly was about this.
If we are not careful we are on the verge of becoming a full fledged courtacracy where judges....not We the People, rule the land.

It’s the ultimate gamed system. Put your fellow travelers at the top of the court system, and litigate absolutely everything with ferocious tenacity until the score is in your favor. Then litigate some more just out of spite.

No. The US has been a courtracy for quite some time. The federal courts are America’s dictators.
Judges are as mortal as everyone else.
There are 205 ABA approved law schools in thee US and all the Supreme Court judges come from two. Diversity is our strength.
The courts are not the final say is most issues between the branches of government.
They certainly do not decide what the other branches may do. The do decide cases based on violations of Congressional law, by those living in USA. Any case not based on Congressional law or USConstitution, allows only one court decision: no jurisdiction.
(Rhetorical) And just who are these so-called legislators? From where do they come? Let us tiptoe through history shall we....

They are truly spirit of antichrist. Seems to me it’s just a matter of time before the real Antichrist shows up and they cheer his arrival. They may call him the Beast (who is like the Beast?), we also know him as the Man of Sin, the Lawless One, the Little Horn, the Son of Perdition (same name as Judas), that Wicked that shall be revealed.
And the MSM taps into their foolishness. So many deceived, especially since 2008 (IMHO).
