Ben & Jerry’s Israel Distances Itself From Anti-Trump Ice Cream Flavor

TEL AVIV – Ben & Jerry’s controversial decision to release a new anti-Trump flavor in collaboration with, among others, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, has prompted the company’s Israel franchise, which is owned independently, to distance itself from the ice cream giant. The limited edition flavor, entitled Pecan Resist, “supports groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all, and who are fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda,” the American company said in a statement Tuesday. Proceeds from the new flavor will go to four groups, including Women’s March, whose leaders are rabidly anti-Israel. Linda Sarsour, who was pictured in a tweet with the company’s eponymous founders, has in the past accused Israel of “apartheid” and shared a stage with Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh. Another Women’s March leader, Tamika Mallory, recently accused Israel of committing a “human rights crime” when the state was established by “killing, stealing” and “taking the lives of people who were there first.” Mallory is an ardent supporter of virulently antisemitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. On Wednesday, Ben & Jerry’s Israel arm distanced itself from the move.

“Ben & Jerry’s Israel is an independent and Israeli company,” it wrote on Facebook, noting that all of its products and ingredients are manufactured and sourced locally.

“We have no connection to the decisions made by the global brand, and we don’t get involved in local or world politics.”

The company said that it would not be selling “Pecan Resist” and will “continue to work and act for the community and for Israeli society.”

Why there's any Ben & Jerkys in Israel is beyond me. But, good for them!

Ironically I think Ben
and Jerry are both Jewish...Mark Frost named the two Horne brothers in Twin Peaks after them.

It’s all Unilever now.

And apparently Unilever is on board with support of Sarsour.

Sarsour Grapes would be a good Republican victory 2018 flavor for Ben And Jerry Israel to consider.

Yea, they sold the company in 2000 for a cool $326 million. It’s just another factory ice cream brand now.

Ben and Jerry’s has been owned for years by Unilever - a globalist, leftist, consumer marketing crony-capitalist extraordinaire.

I have found that most large consumer corporations hate conservatives. Unilever, Nike, General Mills, Target, the list is endless. They are all happy to promote things which slap you in face.

The difference between the Protestant Christian Reformation and the Reformed Jewish movement explains why Protestant Christians are more likely to be pro-Israel than Reformed Jews.

Regardless of how often their parents brought them to church during their youth, the Protestant Christian is supposed to reaffirm their devotion to Christ at some point after they reach adolescence. This personal choice to be a believing Christian enables them to navigate their day to day life in the modern, secularized world, without being seduced by ideas and lifestyle choices that run counter to Judeo Christian moral principles, which are embraced by the secularist “priesthood”, otherwise known as the Liberal Pop Culture Industrial Complex of academia, the media, and the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, the Reformed Jew only needs to be brave enough to stand up and allow himself to be counted as a Jew, in a world filled with antisemitism, and say a few positive things about Judaism that they happen to like. Affirming their belief in Jewish scripture is not necessary. After that, they are free to immerse themselves in the worst excesses of modern, secularized society, and will twist themselves into philosophical pretzels in an effort to convince themselves that these secular fads that run counter to Judeo Christian moral principles are somehow consistent with either Jewish traditions or Jewish scripture.

This is why Protestant Christianity is able to shed it’s skin, like an onion, and form new denominations that stay true to Christian principles, as the older, more established churches become corrupted by secular society’s ever expanding drift away from Judeo Christian morals. Whereas Reformed Judaism is locked into the farce of maintaining a nominal Jewish identity within a segment of society that is increasingly hostile to both Judaism and Christianity.

I didn't know C-4 was a flavor.
