My thoughts exactly, and then the President trolled the media last night at the ceremonial swearing in. I think something big is about to happen as our President is brilliant and knows the importance of these mid-terms. I truly expect a 'real' October surprise.

That was my first thought. It was so unusual to have Rosenstein fly on the plane with Trump. The excuse, of course, was that he was going to a police function. That did not ring true. I wonder if maybe Rosenstein came clean and Trump was able to flip him. If so, this could open up a floodgate. If Rosenstein decided to actually do the job of AG (since Sessions won’t), that could change everything.
