“I am humanity.” Anyone can find himself in “the mob.” You have to exercise constant vigilance over your affiliations and your emotions.
One way to control yourself is this: Ask, “Did this person, as an individual, do something to hurt me, personally?” If the answer is NO, then you’re probably being manipulated.
In sum, avoid any faction that works against people outside of that faction.
