Judge Kavanaugh Meets His Anita Hill
American Thinker ^ | September 18, 2018 | Daniel John Sobieski

Maybe Sen. Dianne Feinstein had another cold, deciding to release a letter the author requested be kept confidential, a letter accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in high school. In what was hardly a "Spartacus moment," the cowardly Feinstein withheld its existence during public and closed-door testimony, a private meeting, and personal phone calls with Kavanaugh.

After the Democrats prattled on about not having all of Kavanaugh's documents, here was the self-righteous Feinstein, withholding a document until all else failed to derail Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. Liberals insist that all accusers be deemed credible and heard, but they forget about the presumption of innocence and the right of the accused to confront his accuser. Kavanaugh deserves that right and might yet get it, but in the meantime, we know that for Democrats, the politics of personal destruction is not dead.

Saying “Anita Hill” is like saying Custer’s Last Stand” was Custer’s finest hour.

“Anita Hill” was a failure to block Clarence Thomas from sitting on the Supreme Court.

Get used to saying ‘Justice Kavanaugh”.

So Mark Judge was the supposed Co-evil teenager? There is a Mark Judge on Amazon who seems to have written several books about his wild youth. Same guy?

No, judge Kavanaugh met Mayella Ewell!

That miscreant of a woman will evermore live under the dark shadow she cast over herself.

My favorite soundbite from the '91 "Anita Hill Hearings" was on the last day when the full Senate met to debate and take the final vote on confirmation.

Teddy K stood up to excoriate his fellow Judiciary Comm members - the Republicans anyway - with cries of "Shame!" .... for the shameful way they treated that poor woman --- ie for their actually posing tough questions to Hill, instead of automatically believing everything she said.

After Teddy plopped back down on his reinforced chair, Orrin Hatch - the Ranking Judiciary Comm member - stood up to rebut him with:

"If anyone out there thinks that we Republicans treat women shamefully, I've got a bridge in Massachusetts I'd like to sell them"

LOL!! Loved it!
