Brennan, Strzok, Clapper and our #Fakenews Nation

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

“What in the wide, wide world of sports is a-goin’ on here?” – Man, the Campaign Update goes on vacation for 10 days, and you people let all hell break loose. Well, ok, all hell breaks loose pretty much all the time in our fake news media society these days, but the past week and 3 days seemed more active than usual.

Just for fun, let’s do a quick review of the highlights that took place while yours truly and the little wifey were minding our own business on the high seas:

Super Duper FBI Agent and aspiring spawn of Satan Peter Strzok got canned. Yes, friends, Jeff Sessions apparently woke up from one of his 3-week naps early last week and realized that he had forgotten to hit ‘Send’ on that FIRE PETER STRZOK RIGHT FREAKING NOW! memo to FBI Director Christopher Wray that he had drafted way back in April. Now, if he can just get around to drafting – and sending – that INDICT PETER STRZOK RIGHT FREAKING NOW! memo to John Huber, we can begin to regain some semblance of confidence that our justice system still functions to some extent.

Super Duper FBI Agent and aspiring spawn of Satan Peter Strzok got rich. Well, ok, not exactly rich, but he did get a nice supplement to his investment fund by setting up a GoFundMe account and watching with glee as thousands of Democrats lined up to give him money, proving yet again that PT Barnum was right when he said there’s a sucker born every minute.

Speaking of the justice system, the jury in the Paul Manafort trial went into its deliberations late last week after the defense rested without calling any witnesses. The defense believes it was able to poke enough holes in the prosecution’s case prove reasonable doubt, which may well be true given that the jury sent a note to Federal District Judget T.S. Ellis requesting him to define the term for them one more time. Right after that happened…

The fake news media tried to doxx the Manafort jury! Yes, friends, the very same fake news media that doesn’t want you all to think it is the enemy of the people proved beyond any doubt at all that it is indeed the enemy of the people by suing the court to obtain the names and addresses of the jury members within hours of it becoming obvious that at least some jury members were thinking about acquitting Manafort due to reasonable doubt. Given that CNN and the New York Times were among the media outlets making the request, there can be no doubt whatsoever – reasonable or otherwise – that the names and addresses of all of the jurors would be leaked to Antifa and other violent leftist groups within moments of their being obtained. Does anyone really believe the likes of Sarah Jeoung or Chris Cuomo – who actually endorsed Antifa on air last week – would even give it a second thought? Thankfully, Judge Ellis told the fake news purveyors to pound sand, perhaps because he has personally experienced numerous death threats himself and requires round-the-clock security thanks to his involvement in this trial.

John Brennan lost his security clearance. The former CIA Director and obvious role model for the evil Dar Adal character on “Homeland” initially claimed he was being “silenced,” and then went to the fakest fake journalist he could find – MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow – to give him a reliably softball interview on national television. During that interview, the guy who had accused the President of the United States of committing “treason” for meeting with the leader of Russia claimed he had never accused the POTUS of committing “treason.” He also told Maddow that he doesn’t “think I’m being political at all.” Even Maddow smirked at that one. Brennan got paid by MSNBC to do all of that, by the way. No wonder President Trump wanted to elevate this guy’s public profile – he is the perfect foil.

James Clapper tossed John Brennan under the bus. In a desperate bid to save his own security clearance – which he has been blatantly monetizing thanks to his contract with CNN for the last 18 months – the former Director of National Intelligence went on CNN Sunday and tossed his old colleague under the bus, saying that Brennan’s outspokenness was becoming an issue. Remember that Clapper is also the guy who tossed Barack Hussein Obama under the bus just a few weeks ago when he admitted to CNN that all of the spying efforts on the Trump Campaign by the FBI and other intelligence agencies were instigated at Obama’s request. Clapper is truly the king of CYA.

Keith Ellison got accused of abusing multiple women and the fake news media couldn’t be bothered to report it. No surprise here, since Ellison is only the second-in-command at the DNC, which dictates the daily talking points to the fake news media. Or maybe it’s the other way around. At any rate, expecting NBC, CBS, ABC, or CNN to report on Ellison’s abuse is like expecting a wife to testify against her husband in a criminal trial. Not gonna happen, at least not voluntarily.

The New York Times faked up another story on a slow news day. On Saturday, the fake reporters and fake editors at the fake New York Times got bored and decided to fake up a story about how White House Counsel Don McGahn had spent 30 hours “cooperating” with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in his investigation. This set off a clamor among the entire fake media – which basically just cuts and pastes whatever the NYTimes spews out on its pages – that lasted the rest of the weekend. Analogies to Watergate and John Dean were ubiquitous. The problem with the story is that it’s very old news, simply a re-wording and recycling of information that had been made public months ago by none other than President Trump himself, who had authorized McGahn’s cooperation in the Fall of 2017, in an attempt to speed Mueller’s efforts along. And the media wonders why half of America considers it to be the enemy.

The media outlets who claim they don’t conspire against President Trump…conspired against President Trump. No kidding, on either Tuesday or Wednesday of last week (I was on a boat having too much food and wine so the days kind of all blend together at this point) more than 300 newspapers joined together to pen editorials bashing President Trump. They thought they were doing something special, but this is what ordinary Americans out here in Flyover Country think of as your average Tuesday or Wednesday – or Thursday or Friday or Saturday or Sunday or Monday, for that matter.

Ok, so those are just some of the highlights that took place over the last 10 days. I’d fill you in on what the little wifey and I did on our vacation, but it mostly had to do with food and wine and seeing a couple of Broadway productions and getting on and off a big boat and this is getting a little long and I don’t want CNN or the NYTimes doxxing any of the wonderful folks we dealt with along the way.

It’s great to be back.

That is all.

My submission for run-on sentence of the week...and it's only Monday! LOL!

Good wine, food and a cruise. Recipe for a ton of relaxation and fun! Wife and I are thinking about either another Alaska cruise or doing a Norwegian Fjord cruise in the near future.

I know. A fast track to a charge of perjury. Gotta start somewhere with charges to file against him.
