And as the FBI agent testified at the Astarita trial a flash bang was shot at Finicum there at that first stop indicating to Finicum that he was under attack I strongly suspect.

The propaganda that people want to put out to CYA themselves was clearly illustrated in the trial by both the OSP and FBI witnesses.

Important point about the other vehicle that stopped at the first stop.

That vehicle was driven by an armed man, yes a man carrying a gun.

But a man who was not arrested because Mark McConnell, the man, was an FBI informant.

He was already committed to stopping even though shots were being fired at the stop.

Finicum was under fire at the first stop. He was running down the road at 75 mph for his freakin life because the OSP shot at his vehicle at the first stop.

The other two occupants of the jeep, Ammon Bundy and Brian Cavalier, surrendered and were taken into custody without injury:

Oregon State Police Trooper Jeremiah Beckert said that McConnell provided information about the occupiers’ vehicles, their location and a basic threat assessment, leading to the high-risk traffic stop on U.S. 395 about 4 p.m. that same day.

Beckert was in an unmarked police pickup truck, waiting in a Sno-Park off the rural road, when he saw a white Dodge pickup belonging to occupation spokesman Robert “LaVoy” Finicum and a Jeep go by, northbound. He activated the lights on his truck and hit the siren a few times as he moved in behind the Jeep.

Beckert, testifying in the federal trial against Ammon Bundy and six co-defendants stemming from the 41-day occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, described the traffic stop, and the arrest of Ammon Bundy and Brian Cavalier from the Jeep.

Finicum was under fire at the first stop.

...

After he took off, and he told the officers they would have to shoot him.

Here’s the video:

Trial testimony from an FBI agent present at the first stop was that a flash bang was shot off at the first stop of Finicum’s truck by the Oregon State Police.

Other information from the grand jury was that Ryan Payne bolted from Finicum’s truck to his arrest after the firing.

...

Ryan Payne’s alive, Finicum was shot dead after telling the police repeatedly that they would have to shoot him and after he reached for his weapon.

Watching the video, it’s clear that Finicum fled the first stop and resisted arrest because that was his intent all along, not because of anything shot at his truck.

Everybody who did what they were told survived. The only person who died was the person who resisted arrest, told the police repeatedly that they would have to shoot him, and who reached for his weapon.

“and after he reached for his weapon.”

The US media is maddening for not covering this story and not providing details, such as 1) who stated they saw a gun in Finicum’s coat before, and during the incident? Clearly this incident was carefully planned to kill as setting up a roadblock on a blind curve that likely would cause a fatality (use of deadly force), coordinating with OSP to get snipers in place, having Feds tell OSP to turn off body cams, etc. 2) Since they left Finicum to bleed out after shooting him, we won’t know if Finicum was trying to draw fire to himself or the occupants of the car when he exclaimed “Shoot me!” as he got out of the truck. And I’m a lightweight at criminal analysis.

BHis passengers stayed in the truck and they are alive today.

Because Finicum jumped out of the truck to draw the fire. If you can find the time, read the accounts of those who stayed in the truck. If not for Finicum they would likely all have been killed.

Finicum was under fire at the first stop

Yes.

They shot at the vehicle while Finicum was stopped, contrary to others contending that the shooting started after Finicum drove away.

All the witnesses, including the government witnesses at the first stop, say so.

Not sure why Finicum's slanderers are trying to change the story.

Yes.

They were shooting at all the people in the truck while Finicum was stopped.

They almost killed all the people in the truck at the second ambush-stop, wounding Ryan Bundy.

Exactly.

And LaVoy Finicum didn't "reach for a weapon" - he was reacting to being shot.

Who came out and smeared Finicum on video before anyone knew he was the FBI canary.

LaVoy Finicum was a hero for saving the lives of all the people in the truck - including the young woman who would have been executed by the hidden government shooters for being in the wrong place at the wrong time - a planned ambush murder by unaccountable trigger-happy government thugs.

The shooter-murderers were spraying everything in sight, and were so hyped-up on kill-adrenalin that one of them dove into the path of a speeding truck.

...

Finicum repeatedly told the police to shoot him, which showed the disregard he had for his own life and the lives of those in his truck, since he was in the truck at the time. If he was concerned for the lives of others he would have surrendered at the first traffic stop.

And Finicum didn’t draw fire when he left the truck. He wasn’t shot until he repeatedly disobeyed commands and reached for his weapon.

Since they left Finicum to bleed out after shooting him

This was against Oregon State Police policy, BTW.

And after pretending that Finicum "reached for a weapon" when in actuality he was reacting to being shot.

Then both the OSP and the fibbie F-Troop spent time "cleaning" the scene - all on camera.

I still wonder if they got footage of one of the nameless shooter-murderers spitting chew on the dead body of the brave, selfless Finicum...

Yes.

And he was shot with his hands up, as we can see from the video.

...

Oregonlive has done a great job of covering this story, much better than what Nextrush posts on here.

There are transcripts of the officers who shot Finicum being interviewed by investigators. They said that they were briefed in the morning about where Finicum wore his firearm. They also give the justification for shooting him. You can go find the transcript yourself, or I’ll give it a go if you ask nicely.

As to whether Finicum was drawing fire, see my post above.
